It features a kitchenette, private bath, and a private patio entrance, making it ideal for your stay. During July and August early check-ins are often difficult to accommodate due to our busy schedule, but we’ll do our best to make your arrival smooth. Let us know how we can help make your trip extra special! Other things to note Welcome to Our Historic Home and Guest Cottage Our home is a charming colonial dating back to before 1813. The guest cottage, attached to the main house, is completely separate, offering you privacy with its own entrance. Guests also enjoy exclusive use of a large patio deck, equipped with a table, chairs, and loaner bikes for exploring town. Gallery 87 Ammi, an artist, has a studio, Gallery 87, attached to the house. We invite you to stop by and view her paintings on display. This year, 2025, the gallery will also feature a pop-up collection of French and American antiques—be sure to take a peek! The Neighborhood Wiscasset is a quiet, safe, and neighborly town. We’re located next to the local elementary school, which adds to the welcoming community vibe. In the off-season, the school campus is a great spot for morning strolls or enjoying the playground. Additional Amenities • Private parking: Off-street and located right next to the cottage. • Loaner bikes: Perfect for cruising around the village. A Friendly Household We live adjacent to the cottage with our older children and a small, elderly Pomeranian dog.
