House is located about 30 minutes from Gainesville (shopping/ restaurant/ night life), or an hour from Jacksonville. For long term or one night rental options please message host. If you’re expecting a five star resort book elsewhere, but if you like country living, you will love it here! (Please read “other things to note”before booking) The space This is a rustic country home on a lake, so please expect sand and bugs. Please feel free to use anything in the house and enjoy the lake access! **We do have a mother in law suite that will be occupied during your stay** Other things to note PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ: We are pet friendly but there will be an additional $150 fee and we expect tenants to clean up after their animals. Sorry for the inconvenience but due to people taking products from the home, we now only provide one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and a roll of paper towels. Please adjust your packing to accommodate. Also, the neighbors have chickens, the majority of tenants do not mind this but if this is something that may bother you, please think ahead of booking. We have provided two white noise machines for the light sleepers. Please keep in mind, this is COUNTRY living and not a five star resort. With that being said, you are in Florida, in a lake house, in the country, and while we do have pest control, there is a good chance you will come across insects regardless.. We do offer beach chairs, floats and corn hole for our guest. If you use, please put them back neatly. We do keep inventory an if anything is missing it will be charged and or reported to Airbnb. Please note all floats must be deflated, folded back up, and placed back into closet. There are 4 floats and 6 chairs. These can be found in the front hallway closet. Also, we do have a mother in law suite (not connected to the home) that will be rented during your stay, the tenant will not be a bother to you. Key things to note: IF DAMAGE OR THEFT IS ASSESSED WE WILL CHARGE A $500 FINE. THIS INCLUDES SMOKING. Although we do yearly maintenance on the floating dock, we will not be held accountable for any injuries that may occur while using, please use at your own risk. Thank you!
