In addition to the comfortable king size bed, your room features A/C, a kitchenette, full-length mirror, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, 2 beach towels, bath towels, and a reusable bag to take into town or to the beach. The kitchenette incudes a toaster oven, hot plate, blender, coffee maker, pots, pans, cooking utensils, dishes and silverware. The kitchenette is stocked with local coffee, coffee filters, powdered creamer, sugar, salt, pepper, avocado oil and microdyne. The Casa Calavera property is an ideal spot for couples, families, or groups traveling together. There are 7 rooms available for rent on the property, sleeping 14 comfortably. Please enjoy the salt water pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas to keep you comfortable. You can also take the stairs all the way up to the right to enjoy the beautiful views and breeze on the property’s rooftop deck. There is a hammock, dining table and BBQ grill for you to enjoy on the rooftop. Please note that you will need to provide your own charcoal for the grill. We do have a spatula you can borrow. Other things to note Other than your private room, the rest of the property including the pool and rooftop are shared spaces. The property is located on a hill (allowing those killer ocean and sunset views from the roof!) and is terraced, so there are stairs throughout. There is a laundry room on-site with 2 washers and 2 dryers. If you would like to do a load of laundry, please let us know in advance. It is 200 pesos per load. Note that we do have laundry detergent for you to use. Our property is located in a small Mexican village and that comes with noises of dogs, roosters, and occasional loud music, otherwise known as “Mexican charm”. ***During the rainy season (mainly August and September), please be aware that there can be power outages in our small town when there are big storms, which will result in no electricity and therefore no A/C. Usually the power is back on in about 2 hours but a couple times a year it may be out for a full day.
