Other things to note *This is a great place for family vacations, family getaways, family birthdays, sports teams, church groups, church or business retreats, couple getaways, business meetings, and filming/movies. *Very close for an easy drive to all the attractions in the smokey mountain area such as Dollywood (19 miles), The Island in Pigeon Forge (22 miles) & Gatlinburg (28miles). You get a full cabin experience in a quiet, peaceful area with close access to shops, grocery stores, and restaurants in Sevierville where you don't have the busy traffic of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It is the best of both worlds where you can stay secluded or take a short, small drive to all the local Smokey Mountain attractions. Note: Parrots Chapel Road which you take to get to the cabin follows the lake contour and so has a good number of turns. The ride is worth the wait but the short 6 mile road to the lake takes ~15 min to drive due to the turns.
