Dockside Resort, on Lake Superior, has an active working marina with an on-site launch. We have sandy access to the water, a channel deep enough for diving, and docks to hang out on. Picnic area. Kayaks. 😎 The spacious vacation houses, on the big lake, are quiet. Full of rustic luxe comforts. Gorgeous views. Many good reasons to book here. Lots of fun in each season. The space Dockside Resort includes a small campground on the west side, a small yet fully functioning marina in the middle, and a set of vacation houses on the east end of the property. The houses were moved from an Air Force Base to the site for an ultimate up-cycle project. Four houses are fully renovated and ready for guests. Kayaks, an inflatable dinghy, water toys are by the docks, along with paddles and life vests. Swimming is encouraged. Beach towels are provided in each house. No life guard is posted at the docks, so watch your little ones, and be careful around the water. Wood for the fire pit is provided. The fixings for s’mores are in a basket on top of the fridge. We even have telescoping roasting sticks for you. Guest access Guests are free to roam the entire resort. You are welcome to hang out at the docks. Picnic tables and a tiki hut make it comfy for spending time. Selfies on the docks are encouraged. The giant slabs of granite that are bolted to the breakwall are like an art installation. Explore as much as you like. Life guards are not on duty. So be careful around the water.
