Please Note: there is a steep driveway to the cottage that maybe be difficult for young children/elderly. The space The cabin includes two bedrooms, one one each side of the living space and a bathroom with a shower. There is also an outdoor shower located right off the back deck, which is great to enjoy on a hot summer day. The kitchen and living room were recently renovated and include brand new appliances and furniture! The cabin is equipped with high speed WiFi to accommodate all of your devices as well as our Smart TV. The living space opens up to a sprawling deck overlooking Seneca Lake, a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee at sunrise and a glass of wine at sunset next to the gas fire pit. From the deck, there are steps that take you down to the water's edge and the dock. There are approximately 50 steps down to the waterfront area. Guests commonly catch largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, rock bass, brown trout, lake trout, rainbow trout, and more right off the dock. Many consider the lake as the trout capital of the world because of the abundant number of fish all over its waters. On the beach, there is 1 paddle board, 2 kayaks, 4 paddles, and life jackets for all sizes! Also several Adirondack chairs to enjoy the lake! Guest access Once you arrive at the cabin, there is free parking all along the driveway/ grass area. There is also a gravel parking area that can accommodate 2 cars. At the end of the driveway there is steep hill to get to the stairs. There are approximately 35 stairs to get to the main door to the cabin. Once inside, you will be greeted by an open living space. PLEASE NOTE: The house is on the side of a hill and there is a steep driveway down to the cottage that maybe be difficult for young children or elderly. There are approximately 35 steps from the driveway to the front door of the cottage. There are also approximately 50 steps from the cottage to get down to the waterfront. Please be careful when climbing up and down the stairs as they are steep.
