Castle Cottage is named after Beatrix Potter's second home. This cozy home features a children's room, welcoming little people as warmly as Miss Potter herself!  There is a lovely, sunny nook - perfect for a cup of tea! The house is in a small neighborhood just off the interstate in Calera, close to American Village, Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum, Shelby County Airport, and the University of Montevallo, perfect for families with dogs and little ones. Located 23 miles from Hoover Met Complex. The space This house is right off Interstate 65, but far enough away that the only traffic is the neighbors coming and going. The neighborhood has only one entrance, so the traffic is minimal, but each home has a small yard, so if you prefer a more quiet, secluded space, this probably won't be your cup of tea. But it's perfect for easy access to all the area's offerings. Other things to note We welcome dogs (no cats, please). We charge a $125 pet fee, with a maximum of three dogs per stay. We request name (s) and breed (s) when booking. Our pet fee is for the entire stay. We ask that all our guests list accurately the total number of guests and pets. There is a nightly fee of $25 dollars per additional guest over the number of three. Thank you!
