JUNIPER CREEK CABIN is located in a quiet and serene area, surrounded by trees and is about 10 minutes from the town of Payson. The East Verde River and the Tonto National forest are directly out the front door. This cabin is perfect for an outdoor adventure or just come up to relax and unwind. The views from the deck are stunning. Its a magical get-away and 1-1/2 hour from Scottsdale. Please read "Guest Access" for important information on the river crossing. The space The cabin is a 2 bedroom, 2 Bath retreat with an open floor plan and 20' ceilings. The comfortable cabin stands out from the rest because when you walk in the front door it feels like home, its all about comfort, special small details and it is professionally decorated. The downstairs includes the well equipped kitchen, stocked coffee bar, living room, nook, laundry, a queen bedroom and adjacent bathroom. The open staircase takes you to the large queen bedroom open loft with a Futon and a newly remodeled bathroom. From upstairs you'll have access to a big wrap around deck with comfortable furniture to enjoy the breathtaking forest and red rock views. We offer DIRECTV with Smart TV’s (1 in the living room and 1 in each bedroom). There is a small fenced back yard with a BBQ and gas fire pit. Guest access There are 2 river crossings on the way to the cabin. The first is a one lane concrete bridge and is located when you pull off the hwy. The second is a "wet crossing" and the depth of water is anywhere from 2"-8" inches all year. Monsoons and heavy rain can effect whether the crossings are passable. Although very rare (2-5 times last year), it is possible that the water crossings can become too deep to pass. In most circumstances, the water will recede within 24 hours or less. My cancellation policy is a full refund up to one day prior to check in. Do not cross if the river is washing over the first bridge and if the 2nd wet crossing does not look safe. Other things to note You will have use of the carport but, no access into the garage. The main source of heat in the winter is a beautiful propane fireplace. I allow one dog. There is a $60 pet fee that you’ll pay upon making the reservation. After check in, If it is discovered that you bring more than one dog or you don’t pay the fee, I will contact Airbnb to resolve the issue. We have strict policy of up to 4 guests.
