Enjoy the best views in Lander! Giant picture windows welcome spectacular sunrises and sunsets and provide breathtaking landscapes: the Wind Rivers, Absarokas, and Owl Creek Mountains. Well-equipped and spacious 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and full kitchen will help you feel right at home. Lander's world-class rock climbing and outdoor recreation are a short drive away. Fast wifi and a 65" smart TV keep you connected and entertained. Enjoy the small-town charm of Lander in comfort and style. The space The host (Aaron - who travels frequently for work) lives in a separate basement apartment with private entry, as does a quiet long-term renter in an additional basement apartment. Both spaces are completely unique and autonomous from the listing as described. The upper two floors of the house use a private entrance leading to 2600+ sq. ft. of floor space. Views to the west, north, and south are had through large picture windows. The main floor is composed mostly of open kitchen, dining area, and living area. A large deck is accessed from the dining area on the east. The main floor bedroom holds a king-sized bed and full en suite bathroom. A half bathroom with washer and dryer complete the main floor. The second floor has two bedrooms: one with a queen bed and small single roll-out cot; the other with two twin beds. A large open floor area contains a large sectional couch (which can be used as a bed) and a 65" Roku smart TV w/ sound system. A desk and lamp provide a work space. Yoga mats and foam rollers are provided for guest use. A queen-size aerobed and bedding is also available for use. Heating and cooling is available with a combination of methods to keep a comfortable environment. Newer Mitsubishi mini-split ductless systems provide heat and AC, while electric baseboard heaters fill in the rest of the home. A wood-burning stove is available with restrictions. In the summer months, we encourage opening the windows and using fans to cool the house. The AC is very effective at cooling the space during the hottest periods. There is ample parking on the south side of the home near the main entrance. RV parking is available - please enquire! Guest access The home sits at the end of a small residential cul-de-sac on Lander's south side. Although there is access from Overlook Terrace, guests should access from Rodeo Drive from the south. On the south side of the home, there is ample paved parking immediately next to the house, including room for an RV (only 15-amp service and a garden hose available at this time). Other things to note Please be aware that the host and a long-term renter live in the basement, and enter via private entrances on the basement level. Guests will have full privacy and autonomy arriving and exiting via the south driveway entrance, as well as a private entrance to the house. For much of the year, the host will be travelling for work. A local caretaker/housekeeper will be on-call to assist guests. When host/owner Aaron is around, he'll be happy to assist with guest needs.
