Our c.1900 house is in a quiet neighborhood close to Watkins Glen State Park, Seneca Lake, and restaurants—and no steep hills to climb! Enjoy the comfortable, modern décor featuring handcrafted cabinetry and furniture by local craftsmen, as well as original hardwood floors and doors. Our place is one of a kind—NOT part of a chain. Relax at The 505 and recharge for the day ahead! The space The kitchen features handcrafted maple cabinetry by local craftsmen at Smith Valley Woodworks and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen is filled with all the cookware and dinnerware you'll need for your stay. In the living room, you’ll find two couches and a TV. The room is open to the dining room, which features a farm house table that comfortably seats 4-6 people. At the back of the house is a large laundry room with a washer-dryer and iron/ironing board for your use, and a half bath. All three bedrooms feature comfy beds, with headboards and bedside tables locally hand made by Tim Wells Furniture. The beds have fluffy comforters with white duvet covers, and extra blankets are available in each room. * The Oak Bedroom has a queen bed, with headboard and two bedside tables from quarter-sawn white oak. * The Cherry Bedroom has a queen bed, with American cherry headboard and bedside tables. * The Maple Bedroom has two twin beds, with maple headboards and bedside table. The breezy front porch is a great space to enjoy a warm summer's evening! Guest access You'll have access to all of the living space on the ground floor and second floor, including the living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry room, three bedrooms, one full bathroom, and one half bathroom. We also have a spacious front porch for relaxing on a beautiful day!
