This newly remodeled home was built in 1889. Since then, it has been remodeled with an attempt to get it close to the by-gone era it may have once been. A home for the historian at heart. This home has a 6 person hot tub to help you decompress and relax after your adventures. This home is conveniently located at the West end of the Clear Creek Valley, just East of Summit County. Close to plenty of outdoor activities, such as, skiing, hiking, fishing, and white water rafting. The space Guest will have access to the whole house and exterior grounds. As you enter the home you will first enter an airlock. The door at your right should will take you into the living room. Through the living room and the double doors you will enter the dining space. From here you have access to the Master bedroom, bathrooms, kitchen, and the stairs to the 2 bedrooms upstairs. Each bedroom houses a Queen bed and a closet with additional storage. There are some extra areas throughout the house, like the window-seat and couches, that can easily be a bed for a child. The bathrooms are newly remodeled to bring a second full bathroom into the home. The hot tub is for your enjoyment. Please be respectful of the neighbors! Throughout the home you will find relics of the past. Please feel free to touch and enjoy, but remember that some of the pieces, as well as the home, are older than your grandmother. Please be gentle. There is a "Tornado" foosball table in the game room for your enjoyment. Guest access Guests can have access to the whole house and grounds. There is plenty of parking in the drive way, but it is one-car wide. Additional parking on the other side of our fence by the frontage road. The house is conveniently close to I-70, but all of the houses in Silver Plume are due to the constraints of the valley. Other things to note This home is almost 130 years old and the house wears the years fairly well. The floor does have a lean, the stairs worn down from use, and the doors somehow surprisingly shut, but I find all of this to be part of the Victorian's charm.
