Your stay in Delilah's Retreat will take you back to an earlier and simpler time in our history. Enjoy small town charm, easy access to many outdoor activities and all modern conveniences. Relax on the screened in front porch while your family and fur babies play in the fenced in yard. Enjoy morning and evening walks in a town built by Alcoa in 1920. Fix wonderful meals in the full kitchen. Go antiquing in local stores. Delilah's Retreat is perfect for longer term stays too. The space The space: This is a wooden townhouse built in 1920 that has been thoroughly modernized for convenience, while maintaining its historic appeal and character. It features 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a dedicated working space, a large eat-in kitchen, screened front porch and fully fenced yard for your family and fur babies. The master bedroom features a queen sized bed, while the second upstairs bedroom has a full sized bed. Third upstairs bedroom has a twin XL bed and contains the working area with a desk and chair. Downstairs is a semi private room with a futon and movable privacy screens. Upstairs is a large full bath, while downstairs offers a full bath with a stand up shower stall. Parking is in the back of the house, with a 2 car covered carport and room for a 3rd car. The unit is a corner lot so has a large yard that is fully fenced. We welcome a single small to medium sized dog (35 lbs max) for a $50/dog fee. If you have a couple of smaller dogs please reach out and we can work with you. Easy check in - I'll send you a message through the platform 2 days before your scheduled arrival providing all information. Easy check out - Throw your trash in the outdoor can and your dirty dishes in the dishwasher, then start it. That' s all! Guest access Covered parking for 2 cars in the rear, with uncovered space for a 3rd. Doors have a combination lock for guests to access. Other things to note This property is a historic end unit townhouse. It shares 1 wall with the neighboring units. Being over a century old, construction in the early 1900s was not designed for sound protection. The community is quiet, but you can hear through the thin, wooden walls.
