If you’re traveling with a group we can accommodate more guests in the adjoining “Mary’s Cottage” (check my profile for listing) NOTE no TV The space Martha’s Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a dining table, four chairs, and all the essentials for cooking. The spacious living room and master bed and bath are on the main floor, and also washer and dryer for your convenience. The room on the 2nd floor is a bedroom with a private bathroom and an office space. Towels and linens provided. Enjoy the quiet peaceful atmosphere while relaxing on the deck or on the swing that’s hanging from the old walnut tree. The beautiful backyard is outlined with a white picket fence with acres of open farmland beyond. Nature at it’s finest! There are 2 ponds on the property that are off limits to all guests! No swimming, wading, or fishing. The ponds are partially fenced but guests are responsible for their own safety and those with them. Food Lion and Dollar General are close by for all your grocery needs. And be sure to check out the Light House Market in Princess Anne, where you’ll find fresh baked goods, fresh cut meats, lunch meats and much more. Chincoteague Island and Ocean City beaches are only 40 minutes away. Chesapeake Bay is within 30 minutes where you’ll have access to swimming, kayaking, boating and fishing. There is plenty of parking space to bring your own boat! One review mentioned the smell of the water from the high sulfer, just want to clarify that this was fixed! No more stinky water!! Guest access Martha’s cottage is adjoining with Mary’s Cottage so please be respectful to other guests. Both have their own private deck but all guests have access to the backyard. Parking space is shared.
