This room has warm, cozy faux mink sherpa bed spreads and a view of exotic nut and pine trees. One may see the squirrels racing to harvest the nuts before we do! The built in desk has plenty of work space. These beds are both single beds.. Please also be aware that the price of $50 is for one guest and $60 for two guests.This includes a light breakfast with several options available. Please note that because of my allergies, I cannot accommodate pets or guests who smoke. The space This lovely old Victorian home was built in the late 1890's by Sam White, the first pharmacist in Caribou. My husband's family purchased the home in the early 1900's, so it has been in our family for over one hundred years. This is the ancestral home of O.P. Pierson - brilliant inventor best known for his invention of the process for making frozen french fries. Guest access Two pellet stoves in the common areas give a nice ambiance and warmth in colder months. In the warmer months, guests may enjoy the cooling breezes on the shady front porch and also the side porch and the warmth of the sun on a third porch. I have three medium sized sized refrigerators and cupboard space for guest use. You are free to use my rice cooker, Vita-Mix, Keurig coffee maker and any other items in my kitchen. I have a large supply of mostly organic spices available for guest use. During your stay I will be available throughout your stay to answer any questions about my home or places to visit or to eat in the area, but I respect guest privacy and will only socialize when invited.
