Large deck with plenty of seating on main level, a balcony on top-level off master bedroom, and a screened-in porch on the bottom level, also with plenty of seating. This home has a fully updated and equipped kitchen for all your cooking and baking needs with granite counters and stainless steel appliances. We have both a traditional coffee maker and a Keurig. The main level living room/kitchen area is great for relaxing and entertaining with everything you need, all while admiring views of the beautiful lake. There is also a TV equipped with Netflix and Hulu. This home boasts 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and a large finished lower level family room complete with a dining area/table, couch (sofa bed), TV, laundry room, and a full bathroom, as well as access to the large screened-in porch! The spacious lakeside deck includes a gas grill and seating for ALL guests! The large screened porch on the patio level is great for relaxing while enjoying the amazing sunsets and did we mention the fire pit? The dock w/party deck has a boat tie-up, electricity, and lights. It’s PERFECT for paddleboarding, floats, and kayaks. The clear, clean water is so inviting! It provides easy and safe water access for swimming, jumping off the dock and diving board, and sliding down the twisty slide! There is a small cove with a sandy beach area that’s perfect for walking right in the water. 3 person-canoe, kayak and 1 small kid kayak are available for use. Plenty of life-jackets and chairs are available as well. Conveniently located near Channel Marker R8 where the Roanoke and Blackwater Rivers converge. Renting or launching your boat is fast and easy at the Parkway Marina that is within walking distance from the house! Smith Mountain Lake State Park is also just 3 miles away, great for hiking, biking, picnicking, and swimming. Fresh linens are provided including bath/hand towels, washcloths, and bed sheets and blankets. (1 bath towel per guest). Beach towels are NOT included, so make sure to pack some! Netflix, WiFi, Atari games and board games for family fun! Clean, updated, and non-smoking. ***Dogs are allowed, but please contact us first before preparing to bring pets as we only allow small to medium-sized dogs that aren’t heavy shedders.
