The Hillcountry Getaway is a rustic retreat perfectly situated between Dripping Springs and Austin. With dedicated parking, a full kitchen, and a private pool, the Cabin is the ideal location for a visit to the Hill Country. It is located near area favorites, such as Jester King Brewery, Hamilton Pool Preserve, and local wineries and restaurants. It is a short drive to the many beautiful event and wedding venues in the area, making it the perfect spot for your visit to Central Texas. The space The cabin is our family getaway, and we love sharing it with guests. It was built by hand in the 1960s. With vaulted ceilings and lots of windows, the 608 square feet feel spacious and welcoming. You will have full use of the cabin and property, including the wraparound porch and many seating areas on the lawn. The bedroom is equipped with a queen bed and soft linens. A dresser and small closet allow plenty of space for personal items. We also supply a queen air mattress. Fully equipped kitchen. The cabin is at the end of a cul de sac, at the edge of a quiet residential area, so guests are asked to be mindful of the neighbors. Guest access Just a short 5 minute walk up the road is a community lake and picnic area that guests are welcome to enjoy. Other things to note The pool is not heated, so may not be suitable in some weather. There are 2 window units, as well as multiple portable ac/heaters for guests to use. 06/2022: added outdoor shower to pool deck
