Private 3rd Floor Suite, in Historic Temple
Medical Personnel Welcome | Walkable Location | Original Finishes | 0.6 Mi to Temple Railroad & Heritage Museum Built in 1912 and nestled in the heart of the Temple Historic District, this 1-bath studio vacation rental is filled with charm and history, while still offering a central location close to several hot spots. Travel back in time as you stroll past stately homes in the surrounding neighborhood before venturing downtown. Bistros, emporiums, and museums await! The space This red brick American four-square home was built by Roy Campbell, a lumber company owner, in 1912. The listing space was originally the servants' quarters, and is a fully finished attic space (with its own thermostat, in present day). The space is defined by three charming alcoves surrounding a central kitchenette. Some quirks: -This space is not handicap accessible; you will need to walk up three flights of stairs to access. -If you are over 6 feet tall, you will probably need to duck in the shower and through the bathroom door. Mind your head! Guest access You have access to the entire 3rd floor, which has its own deadbolt to separate the space from the rest of the house.
