The space is in our family home, which is at a 10-15 minute walk from Thamel in a quiet residential neighborhood. The room receives ample sunlight throughout the day, keeping the room cosy and bright. We have added bits of Nepali craft decors whilst keeping the room modern and minimal. The size of the room is 22.5 square meter. The balcony of this room is shared with a studio apartment beside it. If there are no guests in the studio apartment during your stay, the balcony will be private. The space Make yourself at home with us. Our home is a 10-15 minute walk from the heart of Kathmandu, Thamel at a safe and sound neighborhood. Despite being right in the city, you will, without a doubt, be far from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu city.Swayambhunath, the Monkey temple is at a 25-30 minutes walking distance from our place. Safe neighborhood, sparkling clean rooms at a friendly and enthusiastic local's home ! Meanwhile, the best restaurants would be within a 10-15 walk distance. A local grocery store is accessible within a minute’s walk. Guest access Rooms on the ground and first floor are not accessible. Feel free to enjoy the view from the balcony on the third floor or go up even higher to the roof. Make yourself at home at our garden and if you would like, join us to pick vegetables at our mini farm! Other things to note We have 3 cats, Baby, Nomi and Yumi, who mostly just keeps to the ground floor and the garden. We also have a dog Jenny. She is a german shepherd and is a very friendly dog. We also have a neighborhood dog visit us everyday.
