Also there is the Chateau de Rochegude less than a 5 minute walk from the house which boasts a 3 Michelin star restaurant in an exquisite medieval setting. The space Nestled in the countryside region north of Orange and Avignon, our house in the charming village of Rochegude offers a comfortable home to rest after exploring the vast options this area has to offer. Once you are settled in your home away from home, you will enjoy the comforts of a kitchen with state of the art induction stove and oven, a large refrigerator, a full-size washer and dryer. As you move upstairs, there are two bedrooms with queen-sized beds in each room plus a loft-style room that has two single beds. There is an ample bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet room. The view from the loft-style room is of Mont Ventoux. In the morning you can begin your day with a visit to the village bakery, a short walk away, where you will enjoy scrumptious selections of freshly baked croissants and other delights. There is a small supermarket and a post office in the center of town. Around the corner from the house is the famed medieval Chateau de Rochegude that offers a fine dining experience in its 3 Michelin star restaurant. This charming village even has its own vineyards and winery. The highlight of your home away from home is its location. You will enjoy exploring the Roman ruins in Orange (just 15 minutes away) and Avignon, the City of the Popes with all its colorful history. The Côtes du Rhône region is a must to explore as well. There are many wineries to visit including those in the beautiful village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Other things to note Parking on the street is fine. If no spaces available on the street in front of the house, just drive around the corner and park by the large trees. There are no ATM's in Rochegude. There are ATM's in the neighboring village of Sainte-Cécile-..wifi is not in the house, however there is free wifi available in the village and just outside the house. Simply log on to it ( the source is by the post office ) and you have 15 to register your device via emal. After that your device should be recognized throughout.
