This space is a 540-square-foot studio of a giant cabin in Descanso. The house is connected by a primarily private foyer and a shared large kitchen. Your room is private and has an inside Franklin Stove Welcome to Quiet Mountain, where serenity seeks you out! We back up to Cuyamaca State Park. This property provides a comfortable saltwater swimming pool and in-season access to fresh fruit, including plums, apricots, and apples. Our water comes from deep water wells and is secondarily purified. The space This property is very peaceful, unique, and quiet. Your private studio accommodation is locked and completely separate. There is a lovely foyer, which acts as a shared entrance. The foyer has a TV, sitting area, and wood-burning stove; this is how you access the shared full kitchen. You can bring outside food to your studio suite to your taste. You are welcome to stroll around the grounds, sit and relax at different seating areas, and walk to Cuyamaca State Park. Hiking trails abound, and the property is on the California Pacific Crest Trail! Please help yourself by eating organic, pasture-raised eggs from our chickens! This property includes a unique heated saltwater swim spa set at 101 degrees. The saltwater swimming pool is available seasonally, as it is not heated. Guest access Guests will have full access to the property except for the owner's suite. This includes all outdoor areas, tables, and chairs. During your stay You will have access to the owners as much or as little as you desire. They are friendly and helpful, know the area thoroughly, and can answer any questions. Since the kitchen and foyer are shared, you may see them. However, your room is locked and completely private. Other things to note The owner has two amiable ranch dogs, who will undoubtedly want to come and say 'hi'! You may see some cats on the property. The vibe of this property is of health and vitality. Feel free to ask the owners if you have any special needs. Qi Gong, organic freshly roasted coffee, farm-fresh eggs from our free-range chickens, and High-Protein Organic smoothies are offered upon request. As previously mentioned, the shared kitchen is Vegetarian only. However, you can bring the food you desire. Meet an artist!
