Whether you are getting married down the road at the historic Adena Orchard and Vine or just hanging out with friends, this house has every amenity and comfort for a memorable Catskills vacation. Come stay with us! The space The first floor of the house is anchored by a great room with floor to ceiling windows that reach up to the vaulted ceiling of the second floor. The open floor plan creates a roomy atmosphere which feels cozy with many seating areas and a wood burning stove in the living room. The well appointed and fully stocked kitchen is large with all modern appliances and a wine and beverage fridge for the chefs in the family. There are four counter seats for guests to join in on creating the evening's meal. The dining room table seats 10 guests. The queen size master suite is on this level and has an en-suite bathroom with shower. There is also a powder room on this level. The second floor common areas are surrounded by a balcony which looks down into the great room. There is a reading nook and a seating area which you can enjoy while feeling like you're tucked amongst the trees. A dedicated work area is available as well. A pullout bed ottoman is available for extra sleeping space. There is one queen size bedroom as well as a double bunk bedroom with full-over-queen sized beds. A full bathroom with tub is shared between the two bedrooms. In the lower recreation area you will find a massive sectional that can be put together into the most comfortable pillowy lounge that fits the whole family. There is a large television as well as a ping pong table and board games. A bunk bed is available for extra sleeping options. There is a full bathroom with shower on this level as well. From the lower level you can access the fire pit area through the patio doors. The house has a large dramatic red wraparound deck with a massive front staircase perfect for group pictures for your IG! On the deck you will find an outdoor couch for evening cocktails under the darkest nights sky. A propane BBQ is provided as well. A large in-floor 8 person hot tub is available year round and in all weather as it is covered by a shelter. In the spring we will be adding an outdoor picnic space and lights around the fire pit. * Please note firewood is not provided. We look forward to hosting you! Guest access Guests have access to the entire property except for a locked owner’s closet and mechanical room in the basement. Other things to note Wildlife in the Catskills - we are situated in the middle of the most beautiful areas of the Catskills and nature abounds! You will likely see wildlife during your stay. You may see deer, turkeys, groundhogs, foxes, etc. Please note that we are in bear country. It is very important to discard of all garbage in the secure bear-proof bin (warmer months) or garbage can (winter). All bbq and food items should be brought inside and the bbq scraped clean after use to avoid having unwanted visitors. Bears are generally very timid but they make a terrible mess! The house is regularly treated for pests but being that we are in the country, it would not be unusual to have an insect or mouse make an appearance inside.
