Welcome to The Wheelhouse! My name is Natalie and I am 12 years old. Me and my brothers and sister saved up our PFD money and bought a rental house. When we bought the house it was in pretty bad shape. So we ripped everything out and remodeled it as a family. The money we make will go into our bank accounts for college savings. We kids will be your hosts and if you have any needs or concerns, or if you are not satisfied call us! We will of course have parents to back us up, if needed. The space LOCATION The house is positioned within walking distance to all of your needs and the beautiful harbor bustling with fisherman. Right now the harbor is getting remodeled. July is usually the busiest time of year when you will see the most fishing boats. Just down the street is the famous Reluctant Fisherman (RF). You can walk down there and get some delicious firecracker shrimp. Also within walking distance are two grocery stores, Nichole's and AC’s where you can get some good produce and fun snacks usually shipped in from Costco. If you are here for the summer you can enjoy yet another restaurant, BAJA TACO. There you can have a variety of different Mexican foods and milkshakes. Cordova is a beautiful place. We hope you like it too! VIEW The house has a beautiful seafront view overlooking the Cordova harbor. Looking out your window on fishing openers you can see hundreds of fishing vessels coming in and out from fishing and it's a very pretty thing to see. If you look straight out across the ocean you can see a huge island called Hawkins Island. Most summers some tourists kayak out to the beautiful island. Cordova is home to some incredible wildlife. 99% of the time you look out you will see crows, fortunately probably only 10% of the time you will see bears. KITCHEN The kitchen has a tall fridge-freezer, a sink and counter space plus a microwave. It also has lots of cabinets and a stove/oven. It has plenty of space to move around and cook. BEDROOMS There are two bedrooms in the back of the house. One is a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, bathroom and two closets. The other one is a regular bedroom with two twins beds and a good sized closet. Both connected by a hallway with another bathroom (second bathroom is currently under remodel and not accesible) in it. LIVING AREA The main part of the house or living room is connected to the dining room table. In the living room there are a couple of picture windows and a recliner. There you can relax, play games, and watch some movies on the tv. It is easily the coziest place in the house. BATHROOMS There are two bathrooms (one still under re-model and not accessible until June 2024), one is part of the master bedroom and the other is in the hallway connecting the two bedrooms (this is the one under re-model). Both have running water, showers and the master bedroom bathroom has a bath. And of course both have toilets. Guest access This is an upstairs unit which is a part of a duplex home.
