Welcome to our charming home. Conveniently located just a short walk to Lenoir-Rhyne University. This cozy and inviting house is the perfect retreat for families, friends, or colleagues visiting the university or exploring the picturesque surroundings of the foothills. With great outdoor space for cookouts and gathering by the fire, we are sure you will enjoy your stay! The space The Bear Den is a 3 bedroom 2 bath home with one bedroom on the main level with a king-sized bed. A washer, dryer, and flexible work space are also located on the first floor. The kitchen is equipped with a gas oven/stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom located on the second level. The first upstairs bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a trundle bed. The second upstairs bedroom has a king-sized bed and cozy seating area. All three bedrooms are large enough for a travel crib or dog crate so you can keep your babies and fur babies close by. The outdoor space is made up of a huge split-level deck great for cookouts and enjoying fresh air with friends and family, perfect for pre-game events or graduation parties. The fire pit is a great place to hangout after dark and reminisce about the adventures you've had during your stay. There is also a screened in side porch inviting you to enjoy your morning coffee. The house is located just off Lenoir-Rhyne's campus, perfect for game days and ceremonies. The campus and LR's sports complex is a short walk away, accessible via a paved sidewalk that runs directly in front of the home. This is also great for running and biking. There is nothing we love more than traveling with our fur babies and we want to offer a comfortable pet-friendly stay. We do require a pet fee of $110 if you choose to bring your pet. We simply request that pets remain off the furniture and that you pick up their yard waste for the courtesy of future guests. A Doggy Waste Station is placed on the side of the deck for your convenience and there are designated dog towels for use if needed. The driveway is very spacious and can allow parking for 5 vehicles. The garage is fairly compact so we do not recommend using this space for parking. The garage has an extra refrigerator that is perfect for keeping all your tailgating food and beverages fresh for your stay. The garage is a great space to let your dogs stay while you are out so you can be worry free about accidents and damage. The side screened in porch is a great showcase of the home's southern charm. With a Carolina blue ceiling and crystal doorknobs, this is the perfect place to have a morning cup of coffee to begin your day. For your safety, there are two exterior cameras, one by the front door and one overlooking the backyard. Guest access You are permitted to use the entire house except the unfinished basement and upstairs attic space which will be locked. The front and backyard are also fair game except for the red storage shed located in back. You will be given an access code to the front door that is unique to your stay. Codes will expire at your checkout time. The backdoor and garage may be accessed from inside the house. This insures the safety of our guests and cleaning team.
