Beautiful, unique, hidden gem. A nice, cozy, 2 bedroom, cottage in the midst of a whopping, nearly 2 acres of beautiful, lakefront property!... In the front of the cottage is the spectacular Hougton lake, with a wide open, huge, beautiful, sunny yard to enjoy, with a rare 157 ft of private lake frontage! In the rear of the cottage is private woods, secluding it from the road and neighbors. This is a beautiful, private, spacious, awesome lakefront property. Nothing like it on the lake. ; ) The space You will find the cottage to be well stocked, clean and comfortable. It is one level, so no stairs, and easily accessible. The yard being open and huge, offers much room for yard play and fun in the sun by the water. You will have your own private dock and mooring to tie your boat to, if you bring one. The lake is a shallow one, so be aware of the depths before bringing your boat since the shallow depth can provide a challenge for some boats. There is access to a few fun, smaller non power, boats on the property...There is a 8ft dingy, that is light weight and easy to move around and great for paddling around and playing in the lake. Two canoes, which are great for paddling along the shoreline and enjoying the views and a small kayak There is a nice fire pit for relaxing bonfires by the water and the firewood on the property is included. The cottage is located on the quieter north side of the lake. It is conveniently located close to many fun things for the family. A family golf course about a half mile down the road. Higgins lake, with it's beautiful state park and the rustic Mark lake, for walking trails and kayaking is just a couple miles down the road, as well as a dollar store, a liquor/ convenience, ice cream store and other fun places. You will find a closer party store, a great neighborhood park, with pickle ball/ tennis and basket ball courts, and a kids play ground, just up the road under a mile, as well as a great neighborhood restaurant/ bar. Town is just 10 to 15 minutes away around the lake, with numerous selection of restaurants and bars, different types of stores, as well as Walmart and other grocery stores. This is a great location.
