The space This family suite unit hosts 3 full/double beds, full dresser, small hanging closet, as well as a full ensuite bathroom with tub/shower, and secluded entrance. It is furnished with full linens, towels, toiletries, with the ability to refresh these during their stay as desired. ☆ About the property ☆ We are a small family owned motel located in the St. John Valley of Northern Aroostook County which borders Edmundston, NB Canada. We are located on Rte. 1 (Main St.) We strive to provide extremely clean, comfortable and affordable units, uniquely designed and decorated to give you the feeling of being at home. Whether you are in the area for business, vacation, visiting relatives, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ATVing, or any other reason, Martin’s Motel is here to provide you the best service possible to accommodate your needs. ☆ Location Highlights ☆ Martin's is within walking distance of a number of businesses, including a Hannaford, Tractor Supply, Alete Salon & Spa, Davis Clothing & Footwear, Marden's, Subway, Acadia Federal Credit Union, and NorState Credit Union, with less than 2 minutes drive from Downtown Madawaska, and multiple other great local businesses and restaurants. Other location highlights include: 3 minutes drive from the Canadian Border and Madawaska Port of Entry, Downtown Edmundston. 2 minutes drive from Four Corner's Park 5 minutes drive from the Four Seasons Trail Association access. ☆ Outdoor Recreation ☆ Madawaska is known for it's impressive outdoor all seasons recreation options, sporting close access to countless parks, campgrounds, public boat landings, beaches, and Acadian heritage sites. Activities include: Snowmobiling and ATVing Fishing and hunting Canoeing/kayaking Hiking/Nature walks Cycling Picnicking Snowshoeing Geocaching Pickleball/Tennis/Basketball/Soccer Cross-country skiing/skating Swimming Waterfalls Listening to Music in the Parks Beach Volleyball/Tetherball Skylite Drive In Theatre ...and much more! For our winter enthusiasts, we are accessible from the snowmobile trail on ITS 83, and for those trailering sleds to the area, we have a large parking lot where your trailers can be parked during your stay. Here, Vacationland is more than just a quick getaway - it's a way of life; and we look forward to sharing it with our guests, new and old. Guest access Guest have full access to Unit 20 during their stay. The unit is exclusively yours, and your entrance area is only shared with one other unit, so please make yourself at home! Relax and unwind in your own hideaway in our unique little town. Your room is one of our downstairs family suites which have their own entryway. This is parallel with the sign for the property, under the covered porch. Once you enter the exterior door underneath, it will be the door on the right hand side, labeled unit "20" **Please note, there is a single step down into the entryway for both units in this shared entryway.** ☆ Entry Instructions: ☆ A door code will be given to you prior to your check-in. Codes are changed after each stay. Tap the panel below the circle you see at the top of the door lock, and it will light up, and allow you to input the code that way. Physical key cards are available and can be placed in the unit for guests who may prefer it, on request, prior to arrival. ☆ Additional Areas: ☆ Guests also have access to our common area on the main floor of the property, and office during office hours, if desired. ☆ Parking: ☆ There is plenty of parking available on the property, including spots directly in front of the guest unit. We also have room for oversized vehicle or trailer parking onsite, for guests who may need this. Just ask the office and we can assist you with any questions you might have! Other things to note ☆ 24/7 Access to fresh amenities during the guest stay☆ Additional fresh towels and toiletries are available during the guests' stay by reaching out to the office onsite, or stopping in during the day- guest have access to an amenities cart 24/7 if they prefer to keep to themselves. Every 3 nights, we are happy to reset the linens in the room if desired. Otherwise, we provide a weekly cleaning of the guest unit while guests are out for the day, and will replace the in unit linens and towels at that time. ☆ We are a Pet-Friendly Property ☆ Let your pet experience a new adventure with you! Martin's welcomes pets in this unit, and just asks our guests to follow property policies during their stay. Please note, this does not typically include the wildlife. We repeat, please do not bring them inside with you. They are happy outside. We promise. ☆ Non-Smoking Units ☆ All units on property are non smoking. Please refrain from smoking inside this rental! Guests must utilize marked outdoor smoking area(s). Any evidence of smoking indoors will result in a cleaning/damages fee.
