We are a family of four (plus some 4-legged friends), on the go with sports and outdoor activities like mountain biking, skiing and climbing. Quiet setting, dark skies, and mountain vistas! The space Valle Crucis is a quaint area, conveniently located just 15 minutes from Boone and Banner Elk. Our home overlooks a trout stream and the Historic Apple Barn, located on the property of the Valle Crucis Conference Center, America's first monastery. Sit on the patio and enjoy the sound of the trout stream in the front yard or go stick your feet in the creek. Enjoy the fine art photography of the owner inside the apartment as well as the beautiful views of the mountains outside. There is a cozy fireplace with electric logs for ambiance (they do not produce heat). Wifi is provided, and there is an Amazon Fire Stick on the TV with Hulu, Netflix and more. Guest access You will have access to the entire walk-out basement apartment. It's 1000 sq. with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, washer/dryer, full kitchen and dining. Please feel free to use everything within moderation. There are several closets for use, and there are two locked owner closets. Also take advantage of the hiking trails at the Valle Crucis Conference Center, and get a refreshing experience in the creek at the bottom of the property.
