Porch Flight is a modern twist on the traditional French Acadian Cottage Style home. Named after the flight of stairs traditionally found gracing the front porch of old Cajun cottages. These staircases lead to an upper room that was commonly known as La Gar·çon·nière. The stairs also welcomed travelers to enjoy our great culture in Acadiana. The room and the stairs have been removed (for insurance purposes) but the style of the French Acadian Cottage remains in many proportions and style.
