Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway on the Majestic Ohio River. Where your only minutes from Downtown Cincinnati but far enough to feel as if you were in the hills of Tennessee or West Virginia. This cozy Cabin is perfect for a couples weekend gateway or a weekly stay for work with an amazingly relaxing view afterwards. If you enjoy the outdoors,wildlife,fishing look no further as we have a fantastic fishery behind the house and plenty of room for your boat,work trailer if needed. The space The Cabin is located upstairs and sits on top of an apartment. The Cabin can sleep 1 to 4 guests. While staying at the Cabin, guest have access to a full kitchen/ eating area, a living room, the sunroom to sip on some coffee in the morning, or get caught up on some work all while overlooking the Ohio River. Seeing the pink and orange sunset is breathtaking! In the living room during the winter you can wrap up with a blanket, heated blanket, and gather around the fire while watching your favorite shows or movies on the multiple apps that are already programmed in the smart TV! We also have some books for adults and kids, and some fun board games as well! The cabin is equipped with a full bathroom. After a long day of fun in the sun, or spending time outside in the winter you can head upstairs to the loft to unwind! The loft has a queen size bed to sleep in, however, there is additional space for blow up mattress, or pack and play in the loft. We also have sleeping arrangements in the sunroom, the couch easily pulls out to a bed, should you need an additional area to sleep the living room couch is pretty spacious and comfortable. Have furry friends with you? We want to keep them safe and your mind at ease, attached to the lower half of the house is a fenced in yard area for them to use the bathroom or run and play. Guest access NEW AS OF SEPTEMBER 2024. Guest who book The Cabin will now have access to a maintained trail that leads from the front yard directly to the riverbank. We want guest to be able to enjoy time with their family, loved ones, and pets. Please refer to the album Backyard where you’ll see the trail, that leads straight to the riverbank. We know you’ll love watching the sunset, starting a small bonfire, fishing, and gathering with your guests. It’s a great place to connect with nature as well as the water. Please note we do our best to maintain the trail, weather permitting. Guest who book The Cabin will have access to the entire Cabin. The Cabin sits on top of an apartment. Once arrived at the property you’ll notice a staircase that leads directly up to The Cabin. Guest also have access to use the fenced in area to the right of the house to let their dogs out, please be sure to supervise your dog(s) as there are wild animals. Guest also have access to the rooftop where chairs and a grill are provided. Outside access: guest booking The Cabin are welcome to utilize the fenced in dog pen, and the front yard with limits ending at the red sheds. Guests may utilize the roof decks to the left and right of The Cabin! With that being said, we are doing some major upgrades to the property both inside and outside. Prior to booking we feel you should make the best booking possible to fit you and your guests needs. At this time the apartments below the Cabin and the lower back deck are not accessible to guest renting the Cabin, as they are undergoing remodeling. Restricted areas will be marked and outlined in the listing. We are working so hard daily and we are a so excited to share our Cabin with your and your guests! Other things to note  To ensure your stay with us is a wonderful experience we would encourage guest to take a few things into consideration when booking. Currently, we are keeping the capacity level at four guest total, including adults and children for safety precautions. Failure to disclose the amount of guest besides the allowed four, without contacting your host or cohost for approval first can result in additional fees/cancellations. We want to provide a relaxing and enjoyable experience at this time four guests is what we deemed to be appropriate. Thank you for your understanding. We know fur babies are family too, we do allow dogs! Unfortunately, we do not allow cats. There are multiple sets of stairs to enter the property, exit the property, and enter the loft, which is upstairs for sleeping purposes and relaxing. The amount of stairs should be taken into consideration prior to booking. If you have young children, elderly guest, pets with you, or any other health concerns that may make steps difficult to enter and exit the property please take this into consideration prior to booking. The property also sits on a hill with a gorgeous view of the river in the backyard, the hill is steep to walk down to reach the river and walking back up the hill so again, please keep those safety or health concerns in mind. **During the winter season, bookings may need to be altered should there be a snow storm, the driveway is very steep which could present problems safely entering and exciting the property**
