The space YOUR SPACE Your tent will be filled with essential amenities for your desert adventure including cozy bedding, a luggage rack, LED lanterns, wireless fan, phone charging pack, woven blankets, full body shower wipes, and a water dispenser with cups. Outside enjoy an entry deck with seating. SHARED SPACE All guests enjoy access to shared facilities, such as the Clubhouse, Canopy, Shade, Outhouse*, Showers, Fire Pits (stocked with fire wood), Outdoor Kitchen**, and 3 miles of onsite hiking trails. Large telescope available upon request. *The Outhouse Tent features a six–stall bathroom, including two waterless urinals, four toilets, two hot showers, and six hand washing sinks. During the warmer months, a two-stall outdoor shower is typically provided. **The self-cook area is outfitted with stainless steel prep tables, sinks with running (cold) water, and a 3-burner propane stove and propane grill. Out of consideration for other guests and the wild environment, we kindly ask campers to arrive with all dining supplies and ingredients organized in coolers and containers with lids. While we offer a basic prep and cook area, we do not offer pans, cooking utensils, serve ware, or the like. Guests can enjoy 3 miles of onsite trails, and access to 40+ miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails within the preserve. Our amenities and services are quality you’ll find in boutique hotel, with curated furnishings and daily onsite concierge service. We created a space immersed in nature, so you can pack your weekender bag as if you were checking in to a hotel, but you will wake up here. We provide an opportunity for guests to Plug Into the Wild, taking in all that the high desert has to offer, from 360 degree sky views and an expansive landscape, to yipping coyotes, horned toads, and a variety of birds. We source local and regional inputs as much a possible, from our general store to the coffee and tea served every morning. On most weekends, our Dine in the Wild events in collaboration with Dig & Serve, a local experience design company, feature farm-to-table ingredients and fresh, healthy dishes. WHO KitFox is the ideal escape for anyone wanting to disconnect from their daily lives and reconnect with themselves and nature. It is also a popular destination for private events, including multi-day retreats, weddings, and corporate getaways.
