Welcome to your very own Cottage in Harbor Country! Renovated and beautifully appointed, our cottage has a mix of vintage charm with modern updates! Enjoy morning coffee on the brand new deck or screened-in porch, take a dip in the new hot tub or cozy up next to the wood-burning fireplace. This is the perfect place to relax and make memories with loved ones! We are a short drive to everything in the area (see location notes for distances) and we’re an easy walk to the beach (approx. 15 min) The space PLEASE NOTE: we are in close proximity to train tracks with a few trains coming throughout the day/night (usually 4-6 times over the course of 24 hours). While the train passes by quickly (30 seconds to two minutes depending on the train), we understand this may be an issue for some and want guests to be aware of this before booking. We do provide sound machines in each bedroom and complementary ear plugs for light sleepers. The Cottage features: - 2 king beds, 1 full size bed with twin mattress trundle, 1 bunk bed with twin mattress over full mattress , 1 air mattress - 1 full bathroom (small but functions well) - Dining room that seats 6 comfortably, 8 if you're friendly ;) - Kitchen with all the essentials... perfect for basic cooking but for the seasoned chefs may be a bit small - Wood-burning fireplace - Screen-in porch - Smart TV with apps and basic cable - Wi-Fi - Large brand new deck with outdoor dining for 6, loungers, and hammock - Brand new hot tub - Grill - Fire pit - Spacious wooded yard with privacy fence and hammock Chikaming Township Short-Term Rental License: CSTR24-0368 Guest access Guests have access to the entire home including outdoor space Other things to note If you are looking for a party house, this is not the right home for you. While the cottage is semi-private with large trees enclosing the property, sound can easily resonate in the country. We do have neighbors and groups must be respectful of their noise levels when outside. The township does have a Noise and Nuisance Ordinance that we ask guests to respect- Quiet hours are from 10PM to 7AM. No fireworks, no smoking, no parties, no music outside, no yelling/screaming, or any activity that is loud and disruptive! Our deck and hot tub are brand new and each guest is responsible for leaving the deck and hot tub the way they found it. If we have to have the tub refilled/cleaned because it was left in poor condition due to your use (green/cloudy, etc.) we will have to back-charge you $300 for this service (this is exactly what we are charged). The hot tub is professionally serviced weekly, but please do your part in helping to keep the hot tub clean. Lastly, the cottage is ideal for 4-6 but can accommodate up to 7-8 (don’t forget we only have one bathroom). The maximum occupancy is 7-8 adults.
