Horizon house is situated in a cul-de-sac, a safe, peaceful and friendly neighbourhood. The house is spacious with 4 bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. Our fav spot, where we spend the most time, is the balcony overlooking the capital Bridgetown. At night the city lights beckon you. On a clear day, you can see the Caribbean Sea. What could be better than sipping your morning coffee with the sound of birds in the background and monkeys sometimes swinging by? Welcome The space Great family home with lots of space and a big garden for children to play. Horizon has recently been renovated (Mar 2022) and has a new kitchen. Outside deck or patio to sit and enjoy the sun and constant breeze. Supermarkets, KFC, Chefette, etc. are all within walking distance. If you are a family of 2 adults and children, please do let us know in the message and we can work out a special family price. We are open to Long term rental (1 year) - Contact us for the monthly rate for the entire property. The beds, cupboards, etc are made from pallets. We love recycling! The 1 King, room with 2 twin beds and 1 Queen size bedrooms have air-conditioning. The other queen bedroom has a fan. Our co-host Cecilia can organise a light snack for your welcome, grocery shopping or starter pack (minimum of 10 items) and you can pay her directly. Below the main house and completely separate, is our one bedroom fully equipped unique studio preferably for a single or couple that walks straight out onto the pool deck - Studio Gaia. You welcome to book that separately. Although the house is not a short walking distance to the beach, it is only a few minutes' drive to Brandon, Paradise and Brighton beach, which are great for long beach walks and swim. We recommend hiring a car for your stay. The pool is 16 ft wide by 32 ft long. Great for laps. IMPORTANT - If you stay is longer than 14 days - it is mandatory to pay directly in advance for a cleaner to come in once a week to clean (150 BBS$ per clean). Guest access You have access to all parts of the property except downstairs where there is a separate unique one bedroom apartment for two persons only. There are steps on the side of the house going down to the pool. Other things to note Please note that our prices are quoted in US Dollars NOT Barbadian Dollars. Also, mention the reason why you are booking with us and how many people will be staying. There are two bicycles. You are welcome to use. There is a TV in the living room only. Please do NOT use glass in and around the pool area. There is a house manual, please ask for it, we shall also send it prior to arrival. Any questions or suggestions are always welcome.
