This peaceful, beautiful, SUNNY and cozy cabin is the perfect escape! A winter Ski retreat only 15 minutes to Shawnee Mountain and all the outdoor activities. Only a short drive from NYC or Philly and within 10 mins from camping, hiking, rafting and fishing in the spring and summer months. El Sol is a magical and perfect homey place for a day off or extended vaca! The space It's a ranch style cottage. The back of the house, leading onto the giant deck, is all windows looking out into the back yard and green space behind. So private and perfect for enjoying every season! Shawnee Mountain and Camelback is within minutes for skiing in the winter months and there is a river behind that is said to be the best river for trout fishing during the summer season in North America. Also many trails and outdoor activities within minutes as well as the the town of stroudsburg with amazing restaurants and a booming night life. NOTE: If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, you will not find it here. If you are looking for a unique escape, a home away from home with all the space, comfort and privacy with the added bonus of nature right outside your door on all sides....? This is the place!! You are welcome to use everything in the house if you know how to use it :) There are 5 beds including a pull out couch in the living room. Each bed is clean and very comfy. There's a full kitchen and Keurig machine for coffee in the mornings and a Roku tv for watching movies and show on a verity of streaming apps and also a large collection of DVDs. No cable. WiFi is very strong. When the temperature is cooler, you can cozy up to the vintage stove fireplace, and also use the fire-pit in the backyard for all seasons. NOTE: There is a security system to ensure your safety during your stay with absolutely NO breach in privacy. The system is monitored by local police and fire department to assist in any possible accident on the property. The place is also thoroughly cleaned and disinfected up to COVID 19 standards to ensure safety and comfort during your stay. Pets are allowed! Pups only. There may be an extra fee depending on size and breed. Please be sure to clean after pup and if they shed please keep off furniture :) thank you!
