Let the sounds of the river lull you into an afternoon nap, warm up around a campfire at dusk, or chill out with a movie night in a classic 30 ft. Airstream. Conveniently located near US Hwy 220 and minutes from Historic Downtown Madison, where you can enjoy the small town feel with local shops, drinks and eats. The space The Airstream features a comfortable queen mattress at the rear of the trailer that sits between two large wardrobes. Inside the main entry door is a large lounge that converts into an additional sleeping area. A full kitchen with a sink, stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, and storage. Kitchen features a toaster, coffee maker, utensils, dishes, pots/pans and coffee and tea. Opposite the kitchen is a dinette with plenty of space for 3 people. A large wardrobe and the shower are located side by side while the lavy is situated across the hallway. There is a TV in the bedroom and one in the living area. A built in Bluetooth stereo with speakers throughout the trailer, board games, movies, several triller reads, and a front row view of the Dan River to help you relax. Enjoy the outside area that includes a fire pit, picnic table, and comfortable seating with views of the river. Guest access Guests will have private road access to the Airstream with private parking. Guest are welcome to walk around to enjoy the beautiful scenery but we ask that they do not wander around our barn/shop and our home. Farm animals are nearby and guests are welcome to visit the chickens but not to enter the fence for safety reasons. Other things to note The river is approximately 160 feet away from the Airstream. Guests will have access to the river via a boat ramp. With changing water levels mud gets deposited on the concrete and can become very slippery. Please use caution entering and exiting the river and use at your own risk! There is no WI-FI but cell service is great. Wildlife and bugs may occur in this setting so we will provide sprays inside if you may need them. We do not allow pets at this time as we have farm animals that roam nearby. Also to note there is a working railroad that is close by that runs several times a day. Smoking is only allowed outside.
