The Sailboat at Fanchers is a relaxing tiny cottage on beautiful Douglas Lake Cove with room to sleep 6! It is just steps to your personal dock and is the perfect place to swim, dock your boat, fish, or just about whatever water activity you can think of. The space Step onto this covered porch, the perfect place to sip coffee overlooking the peaceful lake cove or relax by the fire underneath bistro lights. Just steps to your dock, where you can swim, dock your boat, or fish. As you step through the sliding glass doors to the open living area to the right, you will find a full eat-in kitchen. Stocked with dinnerware, cookware, dish soap, and paper towels. The living room has lake views through the sliding glass door. The comfy futon is perfect for relaxing with a WIFI-connected smart TV with Dish Network. For the rainy days, we have a few card and board games. Off the living room, you have the full bath stocked with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Continue on and step down into the main bedroom with a queen bed. Above the bedroom you will find a sleeping loft with queen bed. The loft is accessed via a ladder to the right of the bedroom door. Also, know that the lake level fluctuates in the fall, winter, and spring. As shown in the pictures. Please know that we have a motion sensor outdoor security camera that observes the driveway and front door 24/7. The camera doesn’t observe any gathering area or sitting area. It is in place to help keep our team members notified of departures and arrivals and to make sure no one is parked in the driveway blocking your parking spot. We have access to the cameras at all times. Douglas Lake is a TVA-controlled lake, meaning lake levels fluctuate from mid-September till late April. Even though lake levels are low during those times, it is a good time to fish off our main dock or in the fishing pond, search the lake bottom for cool objects like crystals and arrowheads, and watch birds from around the lake banks. It is also a good time to check out surrounding areas like Dandridge, Newport, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg.
