Our hotel is well known to be a relaxing place surrounded by nature. Our hammocks just simply call to take a break and enjoy the moment! We are close to town yet away from the crowd. The hotel features 16 rooms with ac inverters, private bathroom, satellite TV, iron, blower, fridge, free wifi in common areas, free parking. You can relax in one of our hammocks, enjoy the sundeck or just chill out in our heated pool! Great drinks an food in The Pineapple Bar and our Caribbean food restaurant! Also Enjoy the bio bay in Parguera, the cays, salt water pools, night life, artisans plus more! La Jamaca is only a one-minute drive to main street, 10 minutes walking. An oasis in the desert! At La Jamaca you can enjoy common areas such as the pool, decks, hammocks. Laundry can be done per request for an additional cost. Storage of food per request. Ice is available an additional fee. Housekeeping available daily but please help us protect the environment by following our conservation of energy and environmental policies. Think twice before requesting a room service or towel changes!!! Remember we are a green B&B! We host a restaurant El Patio de La Jamaca (open Thursdays-Mondays) with tasty Caribbean food for our customers and general public. From our famous Kan Kan pork chops, mofongos, fresh seafood, homemade hamburgers and more! Also, we host The Pineapple Bar (open daily from 3pm ) where you can enjoy an awesome Piña Colada in a pineapple or drink the best mojitos in town! You will delight yourself around our pool in a relax and fresh environment. In the morning (Saturdays and Sundays) guests enjoy our breakfast for an additional cost and great coffee beside the pool as they prepare for a day of adventure. All at reasonable prices! I cannot forget to mention Las Tinas and massages Services. For an additional cost enjoy a relaxing experience in hot water bathtubs. Our offer is one hundred and seventy-five dollars per couple for 2 hours of private usage, marine salts with essential aromatherapy oils, a bottle of sparkling wine, cold cuts and relaxing music! Reservations can be done at check in per availability. We also offer massage services! We offer different room decoration options for that special moment! Ask about our anniversary and birthday offers! Note: Expect Quiet times after 11:00pm from Thursdays-Mondays. Peak hours are from 5pm-10pm. This is because our restaurant is opened, bar is opened and people are gathering around. Expect to hear people talking, having a good time and nice music. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are mostly quiet all the time since restaurant is closed. Guest access We have a limited parking at site. If it is full you can park on the surrounding areas. To move around in La Parguera you will need a car. There is no transportation system such as taxis or buses. Room Decorations for Special Occasions: will have an additional cost and minimum a 24 hour notification prior to arrival date. Terms and Conditions Age Requirements: -All guests must be 18 years of age or older to check into the hotel. Minors must be accompanied by adults at all times. Reservation Policy: -Any customer who does not arrive for their stay will be marked as "NO SHOW". He/she will not be entitled to a refund. Cancellation Policy: -If you cancel 5 days BEFORE the check-in date you will be entitled to a 100% refund. -If you cancel WITHIN 5 days or do not arrive to your stay, you will not be entitled to any refund. -No money will be refunded once the client has checked in, regardless of the reason. -We reserve the right of admission. Check out time: - Guest must turn in their keys by 11:00am. - After 11:00am, a $30.00 per hour fee will be charged until 3:00pm. If exceeding 3:00pm the full rate will be billed. - Late check-out requests are subject to availability. Guests should contact the front desk. - Room changes may incur an additional charge. - If the guest does not check out at the indicated time and does not notify a late check out, the full day will be billed without prior notification. Guest is responsible for requesting a late checkout. Cancellation Policy: - No refunds will be given once the customer has checked out, regardless of the reason. Hold on Credit Card at Check-In - Upon check-in, a minimum hold will be placed on your credit card in the amount of $200.00 for incidentals for the duration of your stay. This is a temporary hold. The hold is not a charge to your account, it is a hold or pre-authorization of those funds in case the hotel needs to use them in part or in full to cover any charges that the guest has not paid at the time of check-out. These may be incidental charges (food, beverages, damaged or lost hotel property, etc.). The hold on your credit card will be released by the hotel at the time of check-out. Once the hold is released by the hotel, it may take 24 hours to 10 business days for your bank to reestablish your normal credit line. Generally, most banks release the hold within 4 to 5 days. It is your responsibility to know how your bank handles all your transactions, including pre-authorizations and hold. Damage or Theft of Hotel Property and Charges - The guest(s) are responsible during their stay for any damage caused (whether by a deliberate, negligent or reckless act) to the room(s), hotel facilities or property, whether you are staying with us or not. Estancia La Jamaca Inc. reserves the right to charge the pre-approved credit card as security for such amounts as it, in its sole discretion, deems necessary to compensate for any costs or expenses incurred as a result of the foregoing. If such damage is reported or discovered after the guest has checked out, we reserve the right and you authorize us to charge your credit card for any damage incurred to your room or hotel property during your stay, including and without limitation to any damaged property, missing or damaged items, smoking charge in the room, additional cleaning fee, compensation to guests for inconvenience caused by you or your companions. - Pre-arranged charges are as follows: Lost key fee is $30.00 dollars. The charge for lost television and air conditioning control is $50.00 each. All rooms will be inventoried and delivered clean. All damaged, vandalized or missing linens (towels, pillows, sheets, pillowcases, fitted) will be charged $12.00 each. Bed linens $35.00 each. Comforters will be charged $35.00 each, pillows $25.00 each. The cost per blower lost is $35.00. The cost per lost iron is $20.00. Walls, bathrooms, floors, furniture, decorations or other artifacts that are vandalized will be billed according to the damage quoted. - Cash and debit cards are accepted for payment of any balance on the guest's account. Debit cards (issued by banks or with a credit card logo) or cash deposits will not be accepted to guarantee additional charges. Checks, gift cards, prepaid credit cards or any type of card without the printed name of the cardholder will not be accepted as security for incidental charges. - At the time of check-out, any outstanding balance on the guest's account must be paid in full. In the event a guest fails to pay at check-out, or if there is damage to hotel property, or if hotel property is missing, we will first charge the pre-authorized credit card held on record and, if necessary, make further collection efforts. - A guest who, at the time of check-in, has established credit to cover incidental charges may have his or her room charged at the hotel's food and beverage outlets. The amount of this credit may be limited. The guest signing the registration card will be the only occupant of the room authorized to charge the room and will be responsible for payment prior to departure. The guest making room charges is required to sign the bill for such charges before leaving the bar or restaurant. The guest will receive a balance of the bill by e-mail or in the room the day before checkout and must pay the bill that day. On the day of check out, no charges will be applied to your room at the restaurant or bar. You must pay your bill on the spot. Any claims regarding the validity of the room charges must be settled at the front desk the day before check out. Upon approval of the final bill, the hotel, credit card or travel agent will not recognize any related claims and no credits will be issued. - Regardless of the method of billing or the provision of a master account, you are responsible for any and all charges assigned to your room(s). You are also responsible for any and all damage to the room(s) caused by you or your guests/guests during your stay. Smoking Please ask at the entrance for designated smoking areas. Any type of activity incurred by the guest that produces smoke in the hotel rooms or public areas is prohibited by law and subject to fines. If at the time of room service or upon departure smoke activity is detected in the room a minimum cleaning charge of $150.00 will be assessed and may result in the termination of your stay. This includes and is not limited to cigarettes, candles, electronic cigarettes, medical or recreational cannabis among others. Visitors - Visitors are welcome in our restaurant only. - Visitors are not allowed in the common areas of the hotel or inside the rooms unless they pay for the services. The hotel provides pool and spa passes at an additional cost and subject to availability. - You will be asked to register these visitors at any time. Swimming pool - Pool hours are from 10:00am to 10:00pm. - Towels for pool use must be requested at the front desk. - We do not have lifeguards; swimming is at your own risk. - Use of the pool after hours is prohibited. If you do so, you will be notified and asked to leave the facilities without refund. - Use of the pool is for registered guests only. You must shower before entering the pool. Eating inside the pool is not permitted. No glass is allowed inside the pool. Children are not allowed to run around the pool, in the hallways or on the stairs. No horseplay or pushing and shoving is allowed around the pool. Under no circumstances are children allowed to be alone in the pool without adult supervision. Disorderly persons in the pool will be subject to being called to attention and asked to leave the pool. Room Service - Room service during your stay will be provided any time after 9:00 AM. Your bed will be picked up as long as there are no items in it, trash will be picked up and towels will be replaced if you place them on the floor as per our eco-friendly hotel policy. If you do not want room service, please notify the front desk. - Our staff will respect the "Do Not Disturb" door hanger; therefore, they will not enter the room after their round of service. It will be the guest's responsibility to request room service afterwards. Management reserves the right to enter the room with a "Do Not Disturb" status for reasonable purposes, such as an emergency, cleaning, servicing, verifying that the room, its furnishings and mechanical equipment are intact or to address or prevent a violation of our hotel policies. In case of suspected illegal activity, management reserves the right to summon the police to assist in eviction. The right to privacy ends when a hotel policy is violated. Law enforcement will have immediate access to hotel property and guest rooms in the event of an eviction. - No real candles, stoves or any type of fire-generating devices are allowed inside the room. Barbecues are also not allowed outside the room. If such devices are found, your stay may be cancelled without refund. Maximum Occupancy - Room occupancy requirements are based on fire code and fire safety restrictions. Maximum occupancy for standard queen and full bed rooms is 2, maximum occupancy for king bed is 2, maximum occupancy in 2 bed room is 4. If you exceed the maximum number of guests allowed, you will be required to rent another room for suitable accommodations or vacate the hotel. - The hotel does not provide beds, rubbers, or any other type of additional bedding. Guests will not be allowed to set up inflatable or temporary beds in the rooms. Pets Pets are prohibited, except for service animals. At this time we accept ADA compliant service animals. The hotel must be notified at the time of booking. If we identify a pet in your room that has not been registered, your credit card will be billed $50.00 per day. Pet owners will be responsible for any damage caused by their pets. We may require removal of the pet or termination of the guest's stay. Noise and Parties - The use of personal loudspeakers is prohibited. Please be considerate of other guests and maintain a moderate tone of voice both day and night. This way, we can all enjoy a pleasant stay. Generally after 10:00pm at the close of restaurant operations are our quietest hours. - Estancia La Jamaca Inc. states that in-room parties are not permitted to ensure that we can protect the hotel and our guests. In the event of a disturbance, we will politely request that the noise be reduced. If our request is not followed, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel without refund. Service and Emergencies At our hotel we have reception staff from 9:00am until 9:00pm. After that time there will be no room service. If you need anything such as extra towels, refreshments, linens, etc., you must request it before 9pm. You may contact your host for emergency calls only such as fire, air conditioning not working, smoke detectors going off, power failure, flooding and/or to report guests with unacceptable behavior or excessive noise. For medical emergencies you should call 911. A television that does not work is not considered an emergency. It must be replaced the next day of your stay to notify the technician. Free WIFI Access WIFI access is free of charge for all registered guests. You will be provided with a code to use it. Signals are subject to change without notice by the supplier as well as the condition and operation of the WIFI equipment. We assume no responsibility for the use of this free service and its wireless signal, nor for the quality and unavailability of this service. This will not be grounds for any kind of compensation. Free Parking - Parking is free of charge and limited. If parking is not available on the premises, you may park in the immediate vicinity of the facility. We are not responsible for objects lost inside the car or damage caused to your vehicle. - At the time of check in your vehicle must be registered. Lost & Found Policy - Estancia La Jamaca Inc. assumes no responsibility for lost, misplaced, stolen or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left something of value for yourself, please call us immediately and we will try to help you locate your lost item. - Estancia La Jamaca Inc. is not responsible for any items left by a guest. However, any items, with the exception of perishable items, left by our guests and found after departure by housekeeping will be picked up, checked and stored in a safe place for the owner to pick up for up to 30 days. A reasonable effort will be made to notify the guest that an item has been found. Perishable items, undergarments and miscellaneous toiletries will be discarded. - We will be happy to return your lost item(s) to you via the United States Postal Service. Your credit card will be charged for packing and shipping costs plus a $20 handling fee. A separate receipt will be sent to you. Estancia La Jamaca Inc. is not responsible for any items lost or misdirected during shipment by the U.S. Postal Service. - Lost and found items are held for 30 days while we attempt to contact the guest. If we are unable to contact the guest during the 30-day waiting period, unclaimed items will be discarded or disposed of as appropriate. Enforcement of Hotel Policies: - Our staff is trained and required to respond to possible violations of hotel policies. Guests who refuse to comply with our reasonable rules and policies established by Estancia La Jamaca Inc. for the safety of all guests, staff, owners, operation and management of the hotel, will be immediately evicted from the property without refund. - We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason that violates federal or state laws. Estancia La Jamaca Inc. has a zero tolerance policy in which we will refuse to admit or refuse service or accommodations at our hotel or we may remove a person, without refund, who refuses to comply with reasonable rules and policies established by the Government of Puerto Rico, and the owners for the operation and management of our hotel. Estancia La Jamaca Inc. will refuse service or evict a guest: for refusing or failing to pay lodging and other charges; is under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any other intoxicating substance and acting in a disorderly manner such as to disturb the peace of other guests or hotel staff; fails to adequately supervise his or her children at all times; attempts to use the hotel for an illegal purpose; brings to the hotel an illegally possessed firearm or any other similar thing, including explosive, dangerous or toxic substances, which is illegal to possess and which may be dangerous to other persons; destroys, damages, defaces or threatens to damage hotel property, employees or guests; exhibits abusive behavior against hotel guests or employees (physically or verbally); threatens in any way the hotel, its owners, employees or other guests; causes or permits the maximum occupancy of your room to be exceeded; or refuses to comply with reasonable rules or policies established by Estancia La Jamaca Inc,. for the operation and management of our hotel. You hereby agree to Estancia La Jamaca Inc's policies and you authorize us to hold a deposit on your credit card to cover any expenses and, in the event, you fail to pay in full after your departure, you authorize us to charge your credit or debit card, or to use such deposit to pay off your debt. You agree that guests in your room are authorized by you to make charges to the room from anywhere in the hotel or on hotel premises, unless you inform the front desk otherwise.
