Enjoy your stay in our bright countryside apartment. Our friendly pup will greet you at the door along with some farm-fresh eggs in the fridge. When in season (June) wild blackberries can be picked while you're hiking the wooded trail around the property. This studio-style apartment has all of your basic kitchen needs, a queen-sized bed, pullout sofa, Wi-Fi, and Washer/Dryer. Enjoy spending time on the patio right outside your door, it's the perfect place to stargaze on a clear night. The space We live on 35 acres; the carriage house is above our barn which is approximately 150 yards from our home. The carriage house has a private access door that does not allow access into the lower level of the barn. The unit is on the second floor and does require persons to walk up a flight of stairs. The naturally lit open space apartment is uncluttered and comfortable. There is a sofa for lounging and a large chair where you can sink into a good book. Guest access Guests have access to the 2nd floor apartment, side yard/driveway and yard behind the barn. Do not climb on fake rock in the backyard, it houses our well pump and if damaged could cause issues with providing water to the barn. Guests do not have access to the metal structure or overhang on the far side of the barn. Other things to note Paper products will be provided to get you started, depending on the length of your stay you may need to supplement. There is a walking trail around the property, there are signs (wooden with white arrows) on the trees to keep you on the right path. Please stay on the path to be respectful of our neighbor's property. Do not throw trash along the trail so we can keep it clean for all to use. We do try to maintain the trail but if you find large limbs and such let us know and we can clear them out. This is a dirt/leaf-covered trail so please walk at your own risk.
