A private drive loops around, bringing you past the main house and to the guesthouse at the back of the property. Park your car(s) under the breezeway, or in the guesthouse's driveway. From the front porch you enter a living area that is perfectly suited for reconnecting over drinks and board games, or relaxing in front of the TV. In the far corner you'll find an oak cabinet that opens up to become a desk/workstation, complete with high-speed WiFi, as well as a monitor, mouse and keyboard to expand your laptop setup. Move on to the dining area where you can elegantly serve six people meals of every kind. Discover a sunny, open kitchen, complete with butcher block countertops, gas range, microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, water cooker, and drip-coffeemaker plus all the dish- and cookware you'll need to prepare those meals. Through the back door, you find a patio that's been set up for casual, outdoor entertaining with a charcoal barbecue, parasol, and ample seating for coffee at the patio table or meals at the large picnic table. Back inside, behind the first door you find a bedroom that features a queen-size daybed, with a full-size trundle bed and a large closet. Through the second door is the relaxing master bedroom with its comfortable, queen bed and a walk-in closet. A peek behind the curtain at the back of the house reveals a laundry station with washer, dryer and hampers. Behind the final door you discover an updated bathroom with a roomy, walk-in shower, a well-lit vanity and all the essentials. Welcome to your home-away-from-home! Settle down, freshen up and unwind. Guest access You have full, private access to the guesthouse, its front and back patio and driveway. Your host family lives on-site in the main house across the private drive from the guesthouse, and runs their business from the garage at the other side of the property. Only children supervised by an adult are welcome to explore and enjoy the one-acre backyard in the understanding that this area is shared with your host family and their business. You must respectfully follow any instructions they may give you concerning the use of this area. It's quite comfortable, comparable to most cabins, but not as well-insulated and solid as the apartments or "stick-built" houses that you may be accustomed to. -The hosts own a small landscaping business which is run from the property’s garage and storage area.
