Bajthala TH is a small resort located on a hill. From here you enjoy astonishing view of the Himalayas as well as the Seti valley. We will warm welcome you to enjoy an experience Nepal. Beautiful easy one-day countryside hiking among diverse ethnic group traditional villages including Tibetan, Kumal, Magar, Gurung, Chettri and Brahmin. You can also start and finish the homestay Millennium Trek. Bird watching, vulture "restaurant", MTB itineraries and nature forays into the jungle are amazing. The space Our two-story building houses 6 comfortable rooms with ensuite bathrooms (1 triple and 5 double/twin rooms). All rooms have comfortable mattresses, sheets, duvet covers and blankets as well as bath towels. The exterior wall of all the rooms is a large window open to the balcony, from where you can also enjoy spectacular views in all of them. You will also find a small desk with a chair, sockets near the bed and a bottle of water that you can ask us to refill when you need it. Remember that we avoid using bottled water, but we filter and boil the water we use. All of them are not-smoking rooms, but you can smoke in the balcony or either outside in the terrace. Meals are served in the dining room on the ground floor or on our large terrace from where you can enjoy incredible views of the Himalayas. We serve fresh and organic food where most of the vegetables are harvested in our garden. In order to not use plastic, we filter and boil natural water for our guests. Guest access Right in front of the building is our favorite place: the large terrace. From here you can enjoy extraordinary views of the Himalayas and the Seti River valley. It is the ideal space to eat outdoors, read, interact with other guests or with us and enjoy your free time quiet and peacefully. Below the terrace we have a hall that can host various activities, such as yoga and meditation, work meetings, etc. (on demand). Our orchard extends in terraces descending the mountainside. You will be able to see the vegetables that we will serve at meals and, why not, even give us a hand ; ) Other things to note You will probably do your meals with us. Bajthala offers you a wide variety of local and international dishes. Most of the ingredients come from our own organic garden as well as from surrounding farms. The Resort employs local staff and works with other local homestay facilities in the nearby villages all of which contribute towards promoting the relatively untouched region in a sustainable manner that benefits local communities and protects the culture and environment. The staff are drawn from the local villages and are trained to our high standard thus ensuring that our visitors will not only have a restful and relaxing experiences but that there stay will also be informative and provide visitors with an insight into the rural life of Nepal. Be aware you must use a jeep -or a SUV with good driving skills- to reach us by car. You can also enjoy a 2 hours interesting walking from Dulegauda or 1 hour from Dhor Barahi Mandir, while a jeep carries your luggage to Bajthala. We can also arrange transfer from Pokhara airport, Dulegauda, Dhor barahi or any other place.
