Escape to our charming 2 story farmhouse for a peaceful retreat in the countryside. We are a quick 15-minute drive to charming town of Round Top. Enjoy the feel of a traditional farmhouse, complete with woodwork from the original home. The house sleeps 12 , featuring a full kitchen and a dining downstairs along with 2 bedrooms downstairs . Upstairs is 4 more beds , a small kitchenette, a full bathroom with walk in shower. The space Enjoy stunning sunsets from the outdoor picnic area with fire pit and BBQ grill, perfect for roasting marshmallows under the stars. This front part of an original 1800's farmhouse features two cozy bedrooms - one with a queen bed and a twin bed, plus a small "joey room" with two twin beds. The living and dining area is spacious and comfortable with a sofa trundle bed for additional sleeping space. Please note that the upstairs space is part of a original wood floors mean that sound can pass through from your friends & family staying with you. The upstairs apartment, with a separate entrance( and an interior staircase also) offers added privacy if needed. Ideal for families or groups of friends seeking a peaceful getaway in a rustic and charming setting. Guest access You will have access to the front part of the house, which includes two bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a full bathroom. The upstairs unit is accessed from the inside staircase.(Upstairs is 4 beds , 2 double beds and 2 single beds. There is also a door in the back of the house that leads to our office. This door is permanently locked to ensure your privacy during your stay. Other things to note Our property is located in the beautiful countryside of Texas, with stunning sunset views and abundant wildlife. Please drive slowly down the gravel road. During your stay, you may hear coyotes howling in the distance at night, roosters in the morning and encounter deer, rabbits, armadillos, or even snakes or skunks. We have two rescue dogs, Freckles and Lobo, who may bark occasionally but are both friendly and love to meet new people. We encourage you to enjoy and appreciate the natural beauty around you, including the sounds of nature.
