Enjoy a retreat in a home full of history - it was a tavern/stage coach stop in the 1800's. Today we have added modern comfort while keeping the charm. We are centrally located in the Berkshires making it easy to enjoy -ski Jiminy, hike Mt. Greylock, and enjoy the culture. Or stay in and unwind. Play games on the flat 3-acre yard or try yoga surrounded by nature. Work remotely in our library. Walk down our country road and enjoy the farms. Most of all, reconnect with family/friends. The space This home is not your typical home. It is large yet very cozy with nooks and places to explore around every corner. It has rooms large enough for your family and friends to be together and small places if you need quiet. We found a cannon ball during renovation and other historical finds that we have on display. Most of the wood floors are original (meaning beautiful but not perfectly level). There are fireplaces in 4 of the bedrooms and while they can't be lit, they still add to the ambience. The 3 propane fueled stoves/logs add to the home's coziness without having to do more than push a button. When warm weather arrives, we have air conditioners to keep it cool and comfortable. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house except the attic, basement and garage.
