The Hacienda, inspired after an historic Hacienda in Mexico, is a 9000 square-foot home sitting privately on 5 acres in Kanab, Utah. This wonderful home boasts 7 bedrooms and 6 1/2 baths comfortably sleeping 20+ people. Centrally located to many State and National Parks-Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon and Lake Powell. We welcome friend and family gatherings, professional retreats, business seminars, scrapbook, music or art camps. Groups large and small will enjoy this spacious peaceful setting. The space Each bedroom has its own bathroom for your privacy. You can enjoy an early workout in the exercise room, a leisurely breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen, or in the large formal dining room. There is a large fireplace as the centerpiece in the Great Room, making it a wonderful gathering place for leisurely visiting. You can gather around the piano, read a book, or play chess in the library. Upstairs you will find other gathering areas such as the fireplace room and family entertainment center. In the evening you may choose to enjoy a movie in the home theater that accommodates everyone. Some of you may enjoy a game of Ping-Pong, foosball, air hockey, or Pool in the Billiard Room. The Hacienda has 4 large living areas, including an open kitchen/dining/living room. The main floor has the Great Room, kitchen, dining room, library, Billiard room, laundry room, 1/2 bath off the kitchen, and a spacious master suite, with a large bedroom, walk-in closet and bathroom. Upstairs has 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas and a second laundry room. The basement has the theater room, 2 large bedrooms and a full bathroom, the game room, and an exercise room. There are lots of windows throughout the home to let in sunlight and see the gorgeous views! The wrap-around porch has seating and hammocks to enjoy the red rock views and quiet neighborhood, as well as outdoor eating area and propane grill. The large 5 acre yard gives you plenty of space from the neighbors. There is ample off-street parking for vehicles and ATVs. Several hiking trails are within 1/2 -2 miles of the house, providing stunning views of the red rocks surrounding Kanab. Master suite (main floor) has 1 King bed, walk-in closet, full bath with double shower and a separate freestanding tub and large vanity with double sinks 2nd bedroom (upstairs) "the Rose Room" has 2 Queen beds, large walk in closet, double sinks and full tub with shower. 3rd bedroom (upstairs) "the Sunflower Room" has 1 King bed a large closet, its own private bathroom with full tub and shower. 4th bedroom (upstairs ) "the Mexico Room" has 2 Queen beds, and a large closet. Adjoining bathroom has a full tub and shower. 5th bedroom (upstairs) "the Cowboy Room" has two full beds. It also has a walk-in closet, double sinks, and a full tub and shower. 6th bedroom (downstairs) "the Lumberjack Room" has 2 queen beds and one twin bed. The adjoining bathroom has full tub and shower. 7th bedroom (downstairs bonus room) "the Red Rock Room" has 1 full bed and 3 twin beds. Leather couches and 55" Smart TV in the upstairs living room where you can cast your Netflix, Hulu, etc. You will find all the comforts of home in a beautiful setting. Play in the red rock and sand all day, then head back to the home to relax and star-gaze. Nearby attractions - Close to many National and State Parks, hiking and ATV trails. Make this your base camp for a fun-filled week in southern Utah/northern Arizona. Kanab is central to many beautiful recreation areas. It is in the middle of the "Grand Circle" - 45 minutes from Zion National Park, 90 minutes from the Grand Canyon, 90 minutes from Bryce Canyon, 10 minutes from Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, 45 minutes from Vermillion Cliffs, 70 minutes from Lake Powell, 30 minutes from the Coral Pink Sand Dunes. It is a short drive to national forests, and many scenic views. Several restaurants, curio and art shops, e-bike rentals, Kanab City Library, Kane County Hospital (My husband can stitch you up if you take a fall), City Pool, Jacob Hamblin Park and Water Feature, and Hundreds of local hikes and places to explore are within minutes of the Hacienda.
