Additional features include a fully equipped kitchenette, separate living room with sofa that converts to a single bed and two private decks. The villa also features independent A/C, an automatic backup generator, streaming video entertainment system and full WiFi coverage throughout the property. Ruma Kami was designed for outdoor living. The private outdoor living area features a thatched roof gazebo with sunken seating and makes a great place for relaxing with a good book or sharing sundown refreshments. Guests are welcomed on the upper deck dining area. The island features great restaurants, several boat rentals, deep sea fishing charters and the world’s last remaining kerosene fired, manually operated lighthouse. If you’re really nice to the light house operator, he might even let you help light the lamp with him at sundown. Elbow Cay is a Bahamian Out Island only 5 miles long and about half a mile wide at the widest point The neighbourhood is very quiet, but close to all the attractions on the island. Our eastern and northern shores border the Atlantic Ocean and feature miles of pristine and empty white sandy beaches. The beaches offer opportunities to snorkel, surf, kayak, or kite board. There are also many bars and restaurants along the beach front. Our western and southern shores border the tranquil bright blue Sea of Abaco and offers great diving, boating and fishing adventures as well. The neighbouring islands of Abaco are just a short boat ride away, as are some of the most famous classic beach bars in the world. Get to RumaKami via Marsh Harbour International Airport on the neighbouring island of Great Abaco. Then a short taxi ride to the Hope Town ferry ( arrangements can be made for your pickup) and a 30 minute ferry ride to Hope Town. You can arrage to pick up your rental cart there from the various vendors, or ask Don to arrange pickup to RumaKami. House Rules Smoking is not permitted inside any of the buildings.
