Only 5 minutes from downtown Caldwell, 10 minutes from the Sunnyslope string of wineries (including Sawtooth and St. Chappelle). 30 to Boise The space If you're looking for a comfortable, peaceful place to lay your head for the night, enjoy a mid-century modern vibe, and love to be among the trees, this is the place for you. We are renovators by trade, and love to share our unique properties with guests from all over the world. "Inn the Trees" is the 4th property we have shared with Airbnb guests (we started hosting in 2012, in Mississippi!), and we hope you will love this freshly renovated space located in Caldwell, Idaho! The private suite provides everything you'll need for a good night sleep-- a comfortable King-size bed, WIFI, and a private bathroom. Enjoy streaming Netflix or Amazon Prime on the smart TV, plan your stay using some of the helpful binders/info we provide in your pantry, or stay in and sip a glass of wine on your private patio. **your patio is in our backyard, so we may be on the deck above, or wandering around the yard with our pets in the evening. **We do live on the floor above, so you may hear us occasionally. Although this is our personal home, we enjoy sharing it with guests and often spend time with guests on the deck if they wish to join us. Wander the grounds in the evening, or first thing in the morning; you'll love hearing the mourning doves singing in the pines, seeing a covey of quail race across the yard, or picking sunflowers in the garden. Make a cup of coffee using the Keurig in your space, or--if you're feeling social, make yourselves at home in our home and grab a cup of coffee in the kitchen; we've usually got a pot going by 7 a.m. Sit out on the deck, or join us in the evening for a glass of wine as we unwind in the back yard with our pets. We've included a few photos of the property which oozes character... like the silver foil treed wallpaper that greets you in the entryway, or the white quartz fireplace (rock-climbing wall!) and lodgy tongue-and-groove wood ceilings. Stone and wood and tree themes on the home's interior mirror the outdoor treed acreage; they just don't build houses like this anymore! We've added a redwood deck, freshened up the paint and flooring throughout, and are slowly replacing all of the fixtures and finishes in the house, but it is a work in progress. Our property is ideally located--just 5 minutes from downtown Caldwell (it's a vibrant, historic downtown with great restaurants and lots of fun events at the Indian Creek Plaza), and 10 minutes from the wineries (Sawtooth, St. Chapelle, and so many others!). Downtown Boise is about 30 minutes away. Guest access Guest access Welcome! You'll park on the left side of the circle driveway, by the stairs. ***Don't park under a pine tree, as you might get sap on your vehicle. Head down the stairs to the backyard, and follow the concrete pathway to your private patio and entrance. Settle into your private suite! We are often around, and also have another guest room upstairs, so you may see us or other guests around the property. We look forward to meeting you! Other things to note We have three cats: Hazy Gray, Snickerdoodle and Rusty. We also have a puppy (Australian Shepherd, 2024) Shelby. Shelby the pup is very energetic and is often in the backyard (which is how our guests enter the property and go downstairs to their space). If you are not a dog person or prefer not to interact with her (we know it can be a little overwhelming), we can provide an alternate entrance for you.
