This immaculate home is located in one of Kanab's quiet subdivisions surrounded by stunning red cliffs. A beautiful 2 bedroom/ 1.5 bathroom space with amazing, unique, whiskey barrel-themed decor. Both bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds. (There is one built-in pump queen air mattress available, if needed, for a 5th person.) The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, a Keurig machine, coffee pods, Mr. Coffee, and so much more! A stacking washer and dryer is also available for your convenience. The home is very clean and allergy-friendly. No pets, and we keep up on the dusting. Enjoy amazing views of the surrounding red cliffs while you relax on the porch or around a cozy outdoor fire. *Please note that we do NOT have cable TV. Most guests log in to their app accounts (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Disney+, etc) and watch their favorite shows. *As shown in the outdoor photos of the Whiskey Barrel, there are two front doors: one for the Whiskey Barrel (on the left) and one on the right, separated from the Whiskey Barrel by a fence panel on the front porch. These are two completely separate units. The other entrance is to a studio apartment that is also available for nightly rentals. Therefore, other guests may stay in the same building as the Whiskey Barrel during your visit. While we went to great lengths to soundproof the wall that separates the two living areas, you may still faintly hear a toilet flushing or a shower running. While noise has not been an issue, we have provided a white noise machine in the back bedroom for your use. Guest access The Whiskey Barrel features self-check-in using a keypad lock. You will receive your unique code prior to your reservation. Plenty of free parking on-site with room to turn your RV/boat around. There is a security camera on the front porch of the property. Please be aware that other guests and the owners live on the same property. Please be respectful and courteous regarding the boundaries of the home. Please remember that NO PETS are permitted inside or outside of the home. We have received exemption status from Airbnb for any animals on the property, including service animals. We have severe/debilitating allergies and cannot support animals at this time. Thank you for being so understanding. Other things to note Known as the "Hub of the Parks" Kanab is the gateway to three national parks: Zion (40 Miles), Bryce Canyon (70 miles), and the Grand Canyon North Rim (70 miles). Visit the Grand Staircase - Escalante Monument, Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, The 'Wave'/Paria Wilderness, Pipe Springs National Monument, Kodachrome State Park, Cedar Breaks, and Cedar Mountain. Also, tour Best Friends Animal Sanctuary or hike in the red rock country nearby through the many local trails. These include but are not limited to the Squaw, Bunting, and K-Hill trails. Equestrian and biking trails are also available. Relax with a dream vacation and relive life in the "Wild West," where dozens of western movies were made. Kanab, known as "Little Hollywood", is also home to the Western Legends Roundup (an annual event every August). Western Legends features the National Cowboy Poetry Rodeo, vendors, great food, and two live stages for an incredible 'Battle of the Bands' featuring musicians nationwide, including Nashville. Western Legends honors the western movie industry, highlights the 'High Noon' western parade, and much more. Come and bring your family and friends.
