Welcome to Gwendolyn's Marigold Manor in the heart of Port Deposit, built towards the end of the Victorian Era. Her Queen Suite 's entrance is in the back left corner of the Manor, coming from your private parking spot.. She has a new set of steps and entry/porch created just for you to have your own private entrance. Enjoy this Victorian style suite, boasting three private rooms and our quaint little riverfront town, with it's old town charm and our "River Life". The space The Queen Suite is a private space, with it's own entrance and exit off the back of the Manor. Enter your suite through the double French doors into your Living room, with a sofa/wing back chair, your own smart TV. Three piece bar top, single cup kerig coffee machine, microwave, mini fridge w/freezer. Just a few steps into the hall is a Jack n Jill bathroom that you may enter from the hall way or your queen bedroom. The Bathroom is large with a shower/tub combination. Just past the bathroom is your Queen bedroom with Queen bed and plenty of space to unpack and relax. Remember there is a door from there to the bathroom also. The entire space is yours and yours alone. Please be aware that There is another rental space inside the Manor, please be kind to your neighbors. If needed both of these spaces can be rented and the interlocking door can be unlocked to have access to both creating 6 rooms. Check out our Queen Suite listing. Need a full kitchen? Look into our private cottage also on AirBnB. Gwendolyn's Marigold Manor & Cottage NOTE: One dog is allowed in the Queen Suite, with advanced notice and additional Pet Fee of $20 a night. Guest access The Manor was built in 1902 and has original hardwood floors, beautiful molding and lots of character. The suite is across the front wing of the house with a rear private entrance, from our well lit patio. There is a cottage located on the back of the property that is rented separately. All outdoor spaces are shared with possible guest in the cottage and your host. (Other than your porch and entrance) The gravel private spaced parking lot is directly beside the Manor. Please use your space. Enjoy walking around town to one of the eateries, or walk along the river. There is a small Market/coffee shop within 350 ft. of the suite. We have made every effort to be sure that you have everything you need in your suite, but if you need something, just ask and we will do our best to accommodate. We look forward to having you stay at the Manor. Bring your kayak's Marina Park and several other places are available to drop in with in 300 ft. to 15 min. Depending on the adventure you are looking for. Marina Park also has a boat launch and overnight docking (no hook up) We do have trains, firehouse, etc. could cause higher than normal noise level. Other things to note We do not recommend the manor to anyone who has problems with stairs . We are in the center of a small historic town, note: there are trains, a local fire department, and the house is located directly on Main St. This may cause some higher than normal noise levels, we do provide ear plugs for light sleepers. The advantage to this is everything is only a 3/5 minute walk, restaurants, small market/coffee shop, Gift & Gourmet Pantry shop, museums, parks and the river.
