Private 2 bedroom, 1 bath camp that sits directly next to Orange Lake at the end of a dead end road. This quiet location is off the beaten path but still has nearby amenities in Machias, Lubec and Calais. We are close to Quoddy Head and the Bold Coast Trail. The space This is a 3 season camp that we open in the Spring and close up in the Fall. The first bedroom has a queen sized bed and the second has 2 single sized beds for kids. (Please note that the single sized bed is more narrow than a standard twin) There also is an additional pullout couch in the living room. There is a covered porch with a BBQ grill and a separate enclosed porch to stay out of the bugs and watch the sunsets. Guest access Renters will have access to the entire cottage. Lake access for small boats such as kayaks or canoes is available at the cottage. Larger boats have access at the public landing located off of the nearby Halls Mills Road. Other things to note This is a seasonal camp supplied with lake water. Drinking water must be brought with you. The camp is always stocked with some to get you started. There are 2 kayaks and a canoe at the camp that are available to use. Paddles and life jackets are provided.
