Mallards Landing: Experience the Keystone Safari and its animals & Zip lines across the street from our home. Amazing decorations, lights and animal feeding tours that the entire family will love! Outlets two miles away. Large kids play area with games and toys in the garage. Numerous convenient local restaurants. You can even end your night with a drink at the kid friendly Big Rail Brewery ½ mile away. With all of the amenities for both adults and kids your family will never forget this stay! The space Located directly across the street from "The Keystone Safari" you will drive back a 400 yard long right of way to the house. The driveway supplies ample parking. When you enter the front door, you will see a beautiful new custom Amish Oak hardwood staircase. Turn right take a few steps and you will be surrounded by beautiful amenities. On your left will be a brick fireplace that's craftsmanship and attention to detail are 2nd to none. This breathtaking floor to ceiling fireplace has accent lighting that shines downward from the 16 ft vaulted ceiling with wood beams and a tongue and groove-stained pine ceiling that gives this open concept living room a country feel. Straight in front of you is a huge wall of windows that look out over a marsh offering breathtaking views. The beautiful waterfowl décor of this home is tastefully displayed throughout. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have acquiring it. Over the fireplace is a new 70-inch flat screen TV with You Tube TV, live TV, Netflix, Amazon prime, and Roku. To your right is the master suite. It offers a king size bed with an overhead skylight, so when the sky is clear you truly sleep under the stars! The master suite also offers a sitting area with views of the front yard and safari. Although at a distance, at times you may see buffalo or reindeer. If you listen carefully in the morning, you may even hear the humorous Eee-Aww of a donkey from the safari. This sitting area is so unique because the scenery is beautiful and you never know what kind of wildlife you may see, making it the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or an evening book. The master bath contains a soaking tub, a beautiful private view of the marsh and a sky light for bathing and sipping wine under the stars. If you prefer more privacy turn down blinds are on all of the bathroom windows. The bowl type sink in the master sits on a painted antique vanity. The shower and toilet are in a secluded portion of the bathroom offering a night light, overhead light, shower light, bathroom fan, and bathroom heater. Aroma therapy oils and a towel heater are also provided to complete the aquatic experience. As you exit the master suit and turn left you will enter the 2nd spacious bedroom located on the 1st level of this home. This bedroom offers a queen bed with large windows offering views of the front yard and safari. Just past the 2nd bedroom on the left is a cute spacious half bath. As you continue past the half bath you enter the open spacious kitchen and dining room that are flooded with natural light from two large glass sliding doors, numerous windows, and a skylight. The kitchen is one of the most impressive rooms in this house. This recently upgraded kitchen is of Amish design; the quality craftsmanship in the handmade cabinets is exquisite. The amazing white cabinets and drawers all have slow closing hardware that allow for a vast amount of storage. The elegant white granite counter tops have an amazing contrast with the black granite on the large kitchen island. The double sink looks out a huge window with a large beautifully decorated sill, overlooking the back yard. There is a designated coffee bar with Keurig that makes a cup or a pot. As you head toward the back door of the house, the most easily accessible entrance and exit, you will see the large capacity washer and dryer housed in their own room, with a coat rack on the neighboring wall and door to the oversized garage. The upstairs contains contrasting flooring that leads to two bedrooms and a full bath. Both bedrooms contain skylights to enjoy the beauty of the night sky. Both bedrooms have queen beds. Both bedrooms also contain mini split units to control the temperature of each room individually. The full bath contains a tub/shower combination and a vanity sink with mirror. The oversized garage has been turned into a play area for the kids and adults, the garage is not climate controlled. It has ping pong, TV, couch, table and chairs, games, kids work bench and kids' kitchen and large playhouse. The garage also has corn hole boards, tread mill, elliptical, and exercise bike for the adults. The play area and property are for guests that are renting the property only. This is due to Air B and B insurance and our septic system. Outside amenities include a fire pit, corn hole, and with any luck some wildlife. Deer, Ducks, Geese, beaver, swans, cranes, herons, rabbits, squirrels, and birds are all common on the property. We are positive you are going to enjoy the beauty and cleanliness of Mallards Landing; we are committed to giving you a five-star experience and insuring you love this home! Guest access Located close to the intersection of interstates 79 & 80 and almost directly between Erie and Pittsburgh you will find Mallards Landing (Grove City). Take exit 113 off I 79. Proceed east on Rt. 208 for 2/10 of a mile. Turn right at the (Red Light) intersection of Rt258. Proceed south on 258 for 2 miles and our driveway is on the left, past the Keystone Safari sign- the driveway is on the left at the top of the knoll (our mailbox has two red reflectors and a green arrow on it). Our driveway is very long and can be rough depending on the weather. The driveway is solid, with a low area that can be wet at times. A Truck, SUV, or any all-wheel drive vehicle is best, a car could have problems during times of heavy precipitation. There is ample parking on sight. Other things to note You must be 25 years of age or older to book a reservation. We have a STRICT 8 guest limit due to the septic and hot water tank size and Air B and B insurance. Guests have full access to the two main levels of the home. Home use is for the up to 8 registered guests. No additional guests permitted over the registered amount. Additional charge of $300 per guest per night for any guests over the 8 using the house. If you have concerns about guest numbers, please consult us in writing on the Air B and B platform to discuss. We are not unreasonable we have just had issues with damage and abuse in the past. The basement contains a separate standalone in-law suite under construction with independent ingress and egress that could be used by the owner from time to time.
