We have had as many as 16 people stay there overnight. * We are 3 hour drive from Gatlinberg, less than 15 miles from Toccoa Falls, Piedmont, North GA tech, and Truitt McCollege Colleges. * We are 40 miles from the Appalachian trail, and 20 miles from Helen, GA. Very quiet and restful. 100 miles from ATL and/or Greenville-Spartanburg Airports. The space We watch, feed, and count birds. We are surrounded on all sides by tall oak trees that provide shade in the hot summers and provide homes for the smallest critters to the largest. The patio is the best place on the property right outside the kitchen door. In the summer we watch fireflies and build fires in the firepits. The apartment is completely handicapped accessible and ready for some folk who need a good rest. We have a lot of places to recommend if you enjoy day trips. We are 10 min drive from Toccoa Falls, which is higher than Niagara, and 500 feet from the concrete parking lot. We love living in this part of beautiful NE Georgia!
