This is a very comfortable master bedroom with a private bathroom in a nice relaxing home in a fantastic neighborhood of Mid-Century Cliff May homes. The place has been prepared to accommodate long stays, if needed. Note: You must be an animal lover! We are 8 minutes away from the Long Beach Airport (LGB) and approximately 35 minutes from the Los Angeles International Airport. NO drinking (glass of wine or casual drinking is fine), NO drugs, NO smoking, NO partying is allowed at this home The space The house has lots of natural light and there is a view to the garden/pool in every room. Very earthy and lush/tropical environment. The house is situated in a fantastic neighborhood. We have fast internet, cozy ambiance, good coffee and furry pets around to keep you company :) Guests can use and share the following spaces with us: The kitchen to cook meals, the dining room to eat meals, the living room to watch a game or a movie, the back yard to have a meal outdoors or enjoy the pool and jacuzzi. Please be aware that these are shared spaces since we live on the property. We, as a family, use the living room very frequently, but if you want to watch a movie or a game in the living room, just ask us! As a side note: There is a TV in your room and we have cable and HBO available at no extra charge. You can use our fridge to store food that you prepare or your left-overs, if you go out to eat. We will make some room in the fridge for your food and will make some kitchen cabinet space for your groceries, if needed. The pool temperature during the Fall/Winter is about 55 to 65 degrees. During the Spring/Summer, the pool temperature is around 70 to 80 degrees thanks to the beautiful California weather! If you are planning on using the jacuzzi, let us know and we will get it ready for you! - Since this is a shared amenity, we ask our guests to use the jacuzzi within normal hours and not too late into the evening. This is a shared space and want to be respectful of other guests! We make coffee generally in the mornings, if you are an early riser, let us know so we can program the coffee maker or you are welcome to make it yourself. We also have assorted tea bags and a tea pot in the kitchen for your use. We provide Arrowhead drinking water to all our guests. - Just come out of your room and grab a cup of coffee, tea or water! For our long term guests that stay 4 (four) weeks or longer, we clean your room every week, change your bed linens and provide you with clean towels. We pride ourselves on providing a safe, quiet and healthy environment. We want to make sure that your stay is a memorable and pleasant experience! Guest access Backyard with seating area, front garden, pool and jacuzzi. The pool can be cold during the Fall/Winter months with an average temperature of 55 to 65 degrees. During the Spring/Summer, the temperature is between 70 to 80 degrees thanks to the beautiful California weather! The jacuzzi takes about 20-30 minutes to get hot. We ask that you please use the jacuzzi within normal hours since this is a shared space and we want to be respectful of other guests in close proximity to the jacuzzi. During your stay We live on the property and are as available as needed, but without intruding into your comfort and privacy. I usually respond to questions quickly by using the Airbnb application. The house pets are roaming around and you are welcome to interact with them. They are very friendly and super cute! You definitely have to be a pet lover since they live here too :) Other things to note You must like pets! We have a well-behaved dog (Basset Hound) and four indoor/outdoor cats that will greet you, but won’t intrude with your stay. You more likely only see two cats since the other two are shy and tend to hide. You are welcome to interact with our pets, they are very loving animals. Make sure to close the gates tightly so our dog: “Paco” stays inside the property. Note: If you don’t love animals, this may not be the place for you! We are an active family with a sense of purpose and look for guests that will keep themselves busy, exploring the area, working from home or being active in general. There is absolutely NO drinking, NO smoking, NO drugs and NO partying allowed at this home. I do offer some of my guest a glass of wine from time to time, but we just don’t allow drinking for the sole purpose of getting drunk.
