Welcome to Guest Nest Furnished Stays where you can "Stay Like a Local"! We offer furnished neighborhood lodging in walkable, livable areas in the near-west suburbs of Chicago. We own and manage these small, vintage-boutique apartment buildings and convert some or all of our units to furnished apartments available for extended stays. We specialize in offering fully-furnished, stylish, and comfortable neighborhood stays. The space Location, Location, Location! We are Guest Nest Furnished Stays and we offer neighborhood lodging in the very-livable Village of Forest Park. We have six apartments in this vintage mixed-use apartment building where we offer fully-furnished housing to our extended stay guests. Our units are stylish and comfortable and the proximity to downtown Chicago can't be beat. Read on to learn more! THE APARTMENT: This cute and spacious 2-room studio apartment has been fully renovated and includes a full eat-in kitchen, bathroom, and a combo bedroom/living room. The bedroom has a queen bed. The unit has a beautiful walk-in shower. In general, this apartment looks and feels comfortable, fresh and highly-updated. NEIGHBORHOOD DESCRIPTION: This apartment is located in the heart of the downtown business district of Forest Park. Up and down the street you will find restaurants, cafes, taverns, and eclectic retail shops. The housing in the area is a mix of small multi-family buildings and single-family homes. Just across the street is Forest Park’s more well-known neighbor - Oak Park. There are numerous Grocery stores nearby including Trader Joe's, Target, Whole Foods, and Jewel Food Stores. A stay at this apartment can easily be accomplished without a car. The BUILDING: You will love our charming apartments in this vintage pre-war building located at 7204 Madison St. in Forest Park. This building has six retail storefronts on the ground level and six apartments on the second floor (above the retail stores). Guest Nest Furnished Stays owns and manages the apartments in this building. Due to its age, some features of the building reflect its age - and are typical of most of the buildings in the area. However, all the apartments and common areas have been renovated and the building and apartments are in great condition. The 6 apartments include two 2-bedroom apartments, 2 Studio apartments, and two 1-bedroom apartments. All of the apartments are in our furnished rental program. THE GUEST NEST WAY: We own and manage all our buildings and we manage the Guest Nest Furnished Stay business. We specialize in, and only offer, extended stays of 30 nights or greater. We know what our extended stay guests expect, and we work hard to meet their needs! We provide comfortable and stylish furnishings and decor. We provide fresh and comfortable bedding and linens. We stock the kitchen with everything you will need to prepare a meal and to use regularly during a long-term stay. We provide a smart TV (Roku) and high-speed wireless internet. Each comes with 1 parking space (we can sometimes accommodate a 2nd car). Some of the units have a washer and dryer, or we have a laundry room in the building. Most of the units have a dishwasher. On a case-by-case basis we will allow pets. THE GUEST NEST PORTFOLIO: Guest Nest Furnished Stays has over 30 fully-furnished rentals in Villages of Oak Park, Forest Park, La Grange and River Forest. Each of these historic Villages have long been known as great places to live with close proximity to the city. We have 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and a few studio apartments. We have recently updated and renovated all the units including updated kitchens and bathrooms. Guest Nest Furnished Stays maintains a management office nearby and we are available to assist you when needed. We will provide instructions for access to the apartment via a lockbox which will be available 24/7. Other things to note It is a quiet building but it is on a busy main street. There is typical "city" and street noise (cars, people, some honking, etc.). Please be aware if you are a particularly light sleeper or are sensitive to street noise. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: This unit is on the second floor with one flight of stairs to climb to access the unit *This unit does not have a dishwasher *This unit does not have in-unit laundry.
